Hello :)

My teacher's computer's keys are not working. We have tried updating the drivers through the device manager, and going to the manufacturer's site to get the drivers, but no luck yet. It is a Lenovo V310-14ISK if you are wondering. Im suspecting it is a hardware problem but i want to know before i tell her she has to send it to repair. Thanks :)

One option is to use an external keyboard in place of the laptop's. If those alphabet shows up on screen using the external, then the issue is clearly the laptop's keyboard. Which you/she can easily solve by removing it from the laptop. It's usually held in place by clips around the rim, unfasten the plastic under the board, go look for the same board spec (there should be info under the keyboard once removed), reattach it the same way you removed it. Done.

Good chance the keyboard have to be replaced, those key are so close to each other, probably have the same circuit contact point that why all four keys doesn't work.
