Small question: Is it somehow possible to create BCMDLs with these new tools like SPICA, may it is possible to convert smd or something into BCMDL?

I'm on the search for a possibility to create working BCMDLs that supports at least vertex collours.

I have an issue with the models from Dragon Quest VII, the model shows up, with only two textures (on the model), but no eyes or mouth, however, all textures appear in the side panel.

They must be visibility or material animation dependent. Try with spica

Anyone else have a problem with model.null.bch files? When I open he file in O3DS and Spica, it's blank. I'm trying to view maps in Dragon Quest VIII, most of the DQVIII models actually work pretty fine and have all of their textures, except for a few, same with maps, except some just don't open (hell, maps actually are more viewable with Ohana3DS, than SPICA). I think Ohana3DS needs to be updated to fully support Dragon Quest games and many other 3DS titles, that's probably the problem with textures/materials and unviewable files. I did manage to export a model from DQVIII that never worked in SPICA or Ohana3DS, but it works in Blender. I still have a texture problem with the DQVII models and I think it's Ohana3DS and SPICA not supporting them.

I did not want to have to be editing every uv map of each pokemon, so I fixed Ohana's problem with the uv map

will working continue on a new ohana version with some features that I occupy to export all the animations at once

Could you maybe have it fully support Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII? A lot of errors and problems when opening those maps and models, missing textures, textures possible in obscure file extensions and exporting problems.

I'm not sure I can do this
but give me the files, although I do not promise anything..

If you can take another request, in Ohana3DS Rebirth, the files for the Battle Backgrounds actually makes the software crash when you want to replace it. Do you think you could dig up in that and maybe get a fix ? I can provide files for it

Okay...

I've compiled the files that don't seem to work (or work correctly) in Ohana3DS and put them in a .zip folder.

DQ VII

1. The .bcmdl.lz file for p0001_j00 almost works correctly, but, the facial textures are missing (though, if extracted from .lz in SPICA, the model has all it's textures, but, loses the textures when exported).
2. The .pack.lz for p0001_j00 doesn't work at all in both Ohana3DS and SPICA.
3. The last two .pack.lz files are ingame maps, but, no preview of the model file whatsoever shows up, just the listed models in the .pack.lz file (see the below picture).

DQ VIII

1. These .xbb files really peak my curiosity and I think they contain the extra textures such as facial expressions, unfortunately, I cannot open the file in Ohana3DS or SPICA.
2. x05i12_null (which is a map), doesn't show anything when opened up and I believe it could be an iconic ingame location, as I have looked for that location in the other files and haven't found it yet.

Here's a tip for the future: if you are getting an error and telling people about it, make sure you also tell them what the error is, because nobody can help you if they don't know what's wrong.
