Hi, I'm new to Xbox One S. I'm willing to buy a Digital All edition of it. I need to know if it's possible to download commercial games for free using uTorrent or something like that. Unfortunately, I do not have money to buy games for $50-100 each. Is there a way around it?

Thank you in advance!

No,either just pay for game pass, you're investing in a game console, you should invest in a console you can afford to buy the games for as that's point of what a game console is for, if you just want to pirate and run Homebrew code buy any Nintendo brand console, or older gen console....or get a PC

I was saying If you can afford game console, then you should be able to to afford the games for it, there is no homebrew and no piracy on xb1, people have to realize the more they ask for piracy the less likely it's gonna happen, people don't want to be sued for for piracy and copyright, and I said if you gonna just buy a game console just to run mods or pirate games go buy a hackable console, or a PC, or find an exploit yourself, stop leeching

, people have to realize the more they ask for piracy the less likely it's gonna happen

This line made me laugh. Yeah I'm sure no one asked for piracy on Wii, Wii U, Switch, 3DS , Xbox 360, Xbox, PS3, PS2, PS1, Dreamcast that's why we have it. Give me a break. Do you really think you're making a difference by encouraging one person not to ask for piracy? You're making none.

we have someone who asks if piracy is real or not on xbox and others ones who answer to buy games, I see know why the world don't turn round because there are always people who answer something else and those same people are the ones who take advantage of hack when it pops up

@andrey112 not yet, no piracy on xbox sorry man

Either way, No its not possible, and will not be for the next 5 or 10 years imho if people actually read the forums first, you literally can find that out in 5 seconds, people rather go on YouTube and believe that you can jtag xb1 or 360 with a USB drive, 95% of people use exploits to run piracy and leech while the other 5% actually developed homebrew and did the actual reverse engineering, if you look at 360 homebrew is virtually non existent, and 99% of homebrew on 360 is solely piracy and cheating driven, we don't hack consoles to pirate games as a goal, but piracy is gonna happen if anyone can run code on a console which idc about it, but why buy a console if you cannot even afford one game for, $60 is perfectly reasonable for a disc, I have no issue paying for it, I've been paying $60 for games since I had ps1, exploits are used so the consoles can be used as a devkit PC, the end goal is that it runs my own code, and not leeching someone else's and not to run roms, if you're a fan of Xbox, sony, or nintendo you really should really have the decency and respect support them, either way most people who pirate games have no idea how drm and security works, and what has to go into it to break it, they just expect they can put a file on a USB stick and load free games, this isn't 2003 anymore, companies know how smart hackers are and build the hardware as such..

Piracy is less likely on M$ and Sony products, as m$ and Sony sell their console at a loss, so its more affordable, unless you wanna pay $600-$900 at launch for a console, Ms and Sony make this cost up in service and software sells, while Nintendo makes profit, every console they sell they make money, and make money from services and games too, it doesn't hurt ninty as much since either way they made profit already

And all consoles previously listed are all prev gen, and again they weren't hacked to run illegal and pirate games initially, they all either ran Linux or a homebrew program.

There's currently no way to pirate Xbox One games publicly.
You could try and find a generous friend that is willing to share his library with you or subscribe to gamepass.

Again, there's no public way to pirate Xbox One games as of the time of writing.

Switch is current gen and it's hacked, and as for the previous gens they all got hacked while they were current gen. We're almost in unprecedented territory where current consoles (other than switch) are not hacked. So I don't quite get your point one day Xbox One will be previous gen too, next year in fact. So what? Also yes I'm sure you're right that piracy on almost every console ever made was a "happy accident". *rolls eyes*

Also unless you can swear on a stack of bibles you've never pirated a game in your entire life then I'm not buying anything you're selling.

I never said I never pirated a game, I'm saying that I buy a game console to buy video games for, not buy a game console to run cfw and pirate everything and mod and cheat online, I dont care what you think, your opinion isn't worth two shits to me, as a dev myself and other devs, I'm not against piracy but I'm not gonna advocate it, the switch was hacked due to Nvidia, and due to switch hardware being used in other devices (like Nvidia shield), the hardware was already understood and had accessible documentation (usually console hardware is custom made and if you're not a dev you have no documentation ) , I told op that if you want to pirate or mod, buy a console that's hackable, or make money to buy games, or buy a PC, even the (many) devs that discovered and coded these exploits will tell you the same, just buy the game and refrain from solely piracy, they aren't gonna stop you from doing so, and like me don't care, because we know someone else will write a backup loader, that's why Linux or an emulator is the first homebrew loaded, just because you can load nes games or Ubuntu doesn't mean you can run backups, you still have to write software to allow that to happen, either a loader or cfw. Call yourself a fan of gaming, but you don't feel like you should have to pay the companies and employees who make the games and hardware possible, once the console is old it doesn't matter usually console get hacked towards their end of life anyway, after the companies made their profit

Well I don't want to answer this question in moral aspect cuz it would definitely be the start of drama.

Would rather say, Gen8 consoles (PS4/X1,Switch is an exception) are not really "piracy-ready".
If you are buying consoles totally for game piracy, then the best time to buy a Xbox One is probably when "Xbox Two" is almost end of life and "Xbox Three" is coming out.

Same principle, you can choose a Xbox 360 now as they are "piracy-ready". Same applies to PS3.

Who said I don't buy games? I've probably bought more games in my lifetime than everyone who's posted in this thread combined, barring someone else who's bought a ton of games. It's close to 1,000.

Wasn't referencing you, I was stating that op should not buy a game console just to run cfw or homebrew to pirate games, I don't discourage people from running homebrew , idc if you pirate, if not games it's movies, music, or tv, (especially if you use Kodi for free movies and TV), no disrespect just saying that you shouldn't buy a console if you just want to hack it, and buy a console that has cheaper games, or buy a PC and torrent at your hearts content (I don't recommend this as it depends on where you live), the good thing about the piracy aspect it provides a long term storage or preservation option so I can download an iso years from now for example on ps3 or 360 and still play it.

If you're going digital just buy games pass, you can buy gold and gamepass for $15 a month, they give you a way to save money,if $60+ is too steep

That’s the only reason I bought a switch not to support nintendo but for the free games.

yall really discuss this shit now? seek a life and @aadz93 is right...if u a gamer and can afford a console u should be able to afford games and not pirate the shit of it. and switch is hacked due the Tegra X1 and ps4 is Hacked but only on older FW which cant play newer Games so that dont really count.

youre talking about buying PC. Go on craigslist or a used seler site and try and find yourself a AMD RX570 for $60-80 or a rx 580/590/ or gtx 1060 for $80-110 and install it into a cheap used computer and boom
