Homebrew Question can exfat cause permanent corruption ?

I started my sd card in exfat, got corrupted games, formatted it to fat32.

My question is, do you think it became permanently corrupted.

What do you mean "permanently corrupted"? Your files aren't going to magically come back. If you're asking whether it somehow damaged your microSD card, no, it didn't.

I recommend you get your saves, and reinstall anything that doesnt work, if it does work, then dont worry about it, if you get crashes, then redownload.

I believe saves are not on the SD card with the Nintendo Switch. I'm almost certain the saves are stored in the internal storage.

that is correct. internal storage in USER partition if i recall correctly
