Hacking Please Help quick!

I found a unpatched switch, XAJ40047470091 with firmware 8.0.1.

Can this be hacked fully or should i look for another model on a older firmware? is there any specific i should look out for or ask the seller?

If it is unpatched, it's fully hackable. System version doesn't matter if it's unpatched.

Edit: according to the serial thread, it should be patched though, which would make it unhackable.

Edit again: according to the spreadsheet, it's probably unpatched, so who knows?

yeah i was going by the spreadsheet which says its unpatched and the seller also says its unpatched but i guess there is no way to know 100% before hand?

Tell the seller to take a pic of Hekate or something running. Or just ask if you can return it if it's patched.

It's almost certainly unpatched, according to the spreadsheet. XAJ40048 is unpatched, and you're about to buy XAJ40047. It must be a typo in the thread.

Anyway, if it is unpatched, it's hackable. The system version doesn't matter, and Atmosphere is compatible with 8.1.0 and lower.
