You use chordujor nx while booted into atmosphere and can use it on your emunand if you want to update your emunand.

are we allowed to ask where can i get the system update files? i’m not banned, but my internet is slow so I want to download them overnight. if this is not allowed or gray area at all i apologize and will not seek out this method.

Boot into OFW. Then go into System Settings > System > System Update, and then follow the on-screen prompts. Then after the reboot, you update all your CFW files and payloads to their newest versions on your SD card, and you're done.

There's literally no need to hang around on a crusty-ass old firmware these days, as long as your unit isn't ipatched.

You correct that you aren't allowed to post that here. I will say that there is one specific site that has a reputation for being the gold standard for getting Switch firmware. The name of the site sounds like a bad guy from Star Wars (I'm saying this so you know you've found the right one whenever you find it). Also, as a general pro-tip, google will de-list a lot of warez sites so I normally find that it's best to search with duckduckgo.

If he updates this way on a emunand it would pretty much be a instant ban. If you update this way on a sysnand you wont be able to downgrade.

He can if he holds the volume button upon reboot after the OFW system settings update and then install autoRCM that will also keep your nand completely clean.

Yeah that might work but if his jig fails then he will burn fuses. Also he us still connecting to Nintendos server which will get him banned if any nsps or homebrew is detected.

I just don't see any need to downgrade to a lower firmware... It's not like the newer firmwares keep us from doing anything critical.

I do it myself, but I have a good jig. Not only that if you use Choi for emuNAND and that method for Sysnand it’s the best method as long as you know what you’re doing.
