I need help so I used checkpoint and Kefir to link an account and i backed uped all my saves but how do i restore them? it deleted my accounts and don't know how to restore my saves. It said I had 3 saves to choose from. Any help please.
I also have a 3.0 external hdd and it works fine. Maybe try another XCI game?Struggling to find a solid answer on this. I have got an external hard drive, formatted to exFAT with an XCI file in the root of it. It's plugged into the back port of my switch when docked and the SX OS game menu is just not seeing it. Then the HDD light starts flashing which usually means there is something wrong. Will I have more luck with a 2.0 external hard drive? The one I have is 3.0.
Was coming back to reply. All I did to get it working was convert the partition from MBR to GPT and it's now working perfectly . I would love them to add an option to transfer between the HDD and SD card, that way you can continue your game on the go but I assume that you could just install the XCI from the HDD and that is the same thing?I also have a 3.0 external hdd and it works fine. Yeah, install the game as XCI or NSP.Was coming back to reply. All I did to get it working was convert the partition from MBR to GPT and it's now working perfectly . EmuNAND is a 1:1 copy of your SysNAND. Your games, dlcs and saves should be already there after creation.Hey guys,
I just got into hacking my switch. I bought SX OS, created an emunand and registered my license successfully. I copied to content of my nintendo folder, whcih includes game updates, DLCs and save games from my collection to emutendo. Then I tried installing a cartridge with NSP installer. It installed successfully, but everytime I want to runt he game it is asking for an update (which of course won't install since I disabled all Wifi connections). Then I deleted all files for that game, installed it again and it is still asking for an internet conenction to install an update. Ho Do I prevent that?
Can I keep my Updates and savegames under SX OS? I just don't want to switch cartridges anymore.
RCM is user-dependent. That means whether or not you enter RCM depends on whether or not you are shorting pin 10 which cannot be verified unless you enter RCM. If you aren't entering RCM, then you are not shorting pin 10. And if you are not shorting pin 10, you may have to use something else to enter RCM such as a paperclip, aluminum foil, sim card remover, screwdrivers, etc. Not all jigs successfully boot a console into RCM. Consult this thread for a list of items other people used to enter RCM.
I haven't heard of any incompatibilities on 8.1 but nothing requires you to be on 8.1 aside from online play which isn't a good idea with a hacked console anyways.
Make sure your fusee-primary is the latest one from Atmosphere V0.9.1
- Download SX Installer
- Put .NSP files on SD card
- Launch SX Installer
- Profit
Redownload the latest version of ReiNX here. This release is missing the homebrew menu which you can redownload from the guide here.
What CFW are you using? And does your console have a linked Nintendo Account? If yes, is your console the Primary or Secondary account holder?
Problem is Atmosphere's emuEMMC is a bit unstable and not user-friendly so I do not recommend using it for the time being or at least until its more stable and/or noob-friendly. But you can setup the hidden partition at any point. You just have to restore your clean NAND backup before going online in sysEMMC.
Try formatting with GUIFormat instead. The cluster size is appropriate.
Actually you don't need to hack the console to load custom pictures. You can use this tool to sign any picture for the Switch Album application to recognize it.
Did you update the payload on your dongle?I did this but nothing new still the same
Not that I know of unfortunately.niceee didnt/couldent find the tool like that
any possible way to do something similar for videos or is it out of the question?
Are you using the latest ChoiDujourNX which is v1.0.2? Also while this may not be your error, it may be worth checking out this threadFirst time trying to use ChoidujourNX to update my Switch. Running into a weird issue.
I installed Atmosphere 0.9.1 fine with emummc setup. Weird thing is happening when trying to update the firmware on there. I used my clean nand (3.0.0) backup on the emummc. Everything seemed to be working as expected until I tried to update to 8.1 with ChoidujourNX on emummc.
I locate the files for the update and it passes the initial test and analyzing the files part. But whenever I try to install the update, it has errors being generated halfway through the fw installation (the part where it talks about creating files it starts to error about midway through that). I've tested it on 8.1, 4.1 and 8.0.1 firmware all from that site along with another site with all the same issue.
I tried to look for the error online, but couldn't really find something that matched what I have been running into.
I'm wondering am I supposed to be waiting on the error codes to just run through? This is a very barely used Switch unit. I've been just manually resetting it after it starts generating errors.
Using the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX is the best way to update as it not only lets you control what firmware you want to update to but also allows AutoRCM to be enabled afterwards. Using it is pretty simple to as the homebrew application holds your hand throughout the entire installation process. Just navigate to the firmware files you illegally downloaded, hit "Choose" in the bottom-right corner when you see the .NCA files, and follow the on-screen prompts. As for which firmware you should update to, Mario Maker requires a firmware of least 7.X and Cuphead surely does not require a firmware higher than that.I’m running 6.2 emunand sx os I wanna get console ready to play cup head and Mario marker 2 wat would best FW to update to?
And is there a step to step guide on the update process?

AutoRCM makes this impossible. With AutoRCM, you can only boot your console with a payload and payloads are designed to boot CFW especially Fusee. So I updated to Atmosphere 0.9.1 and setup EmuNAND. I'm wondering if I can enable AutoRCM with a way to boot back to Sysnand from that point? In other words, I want Atmosphere/RCM to be my default, but with the option to boot into OFW if I want. This way I wouldn't have to manually jig it everytime.
