If you're using an emuMMC, that's normal. It's already fixed for the next version, which will be released tomorrow (hopefully).

If you're not, beats me. I'd have to check the code to see what's wrong. I haven't updated to Atmosphere 0.9.0 yet.
I am using emummc, I guess that's the issue.

Project updated to v1.1.1! As usual, go check the changelog in the first post.
The complete set of changes for this new version is, again, somewhat long, so here's a quick summary:
  • This is no longer a gamecard-only tool. The project name has been changed to "nxdumptool".
  • ExeFS browsing/dumping is now a thing as well.
  • Fixed compatibility issues with emuMMC.
  • Installed SD/eMMC title dumping is also a thing. Supports three different NSP dump flavors: untouched, "personalized" -> "common" ticket conversion and tik/ticket-less NSP.
  • ExeFS options and RomFS options are also compatible with installed SD/eMMC titles.
  • Sadly, due to a couple of limitations, the "sdmc:/switch/prod.keys" file is needed for the last two points. But don't be afraid, gamecard-related options still work just fine without it.
  • The application now saves its output data to subdirectories in "sdmc:/nxdumptool/". The NSWreleases.xml file must now be located in this directory.
Just as always, feedback is deeply appreciated.

Tried to dump outlast romfs and for this error happens with any game on sd and yes I have prod.keys in :/switch folder

format gamecard_cert.dat?

First time I ever read about that format. They are stored as *.bin files named after the gamecard they were dumped from + their CRC32 checksum.

Noooo, why to change the name now? The old name was meaningful to me.. :)

Sorry, it just had to be done. This project is really more than just a gamecard tool now.

Plus, now it won't be confused with "GameCube".
