TX has announced they have already released an update to their SX OS, which allows full usage of the latest Switch v8.1.0 firmware. :)
We are back with another update for SX OS. As you all probably know, one of our main priorities is making sure existing users are able to keep enjoying SX OS.

This update brings full compatibility for the recent firmware update 8.1.0.

Nothing more, nothing less. We have some very cool features lined up that are not quite ready for primetime yet. And we didn't want to keep you waiting till next september either.
So what are you waiting for? SX OS 2.8 beta is available for download on our website now! (and through the builtin online updater part of SX OS, of course)

Didn't take too long to rape the atmosphere changes this time, congrats!
Considering that for 8.1.0 they need updated sept (now with fixed exploit) they had to get the keys themselves (somehow). Either they were able to glitch sept again or someone leaked it or they managed to do it themselves.

What's the September comment about?
It's a reference to Atmosphere's Sept.

Reports say that TX used Sept for the previous update and put a black screen during the Atmosphere logo, so the users don’t know it is Sept. Now, TX implies that SX OS doesn’t use Sept since Atmosphere hasn’t been updated for 8.1.0 yet.

By the way, Sept doesn’t mean September lol. @SciresM used this name for the number 7, which is "sept" (seven) in French. Others names in Atmosphère (even Atmosphère itself) are in French.

My guess is they used the same method they developed last time to secure the keys. I'm guessing the long gap in the last release was due to them needing to discover the exploit.
