    I gues on earth.
Considering that for 8.1.0 they need updated sept (now with fixed exploit) they had to get the keys themselves (somehow). Either they were able to glitch sept again or someone leaked it or they managed to do it themselves.

    It's a reference to Atmosphere's Sept.

Reports say that TX used Sept for the previous update and put a black screen during the Atmosphere logo, so the users don’t know it is Sept. Now, TX implies that SX OS doesn’t use Sept since Atmosphere hasn’t been updated for 8.1.0 yet.

By the way, Sept doesn’t mean September lol. @SciresM used this name for the number 7, which is "sept" (seven) in French. Others names in Atmosphère (even Atmosphère itself) are in French.

My guess is they used the same method they developed last time to secure the keys. I'm guessing the long gap in the last release was due to them needing to discover the exploit.

Quite possible, also possible they're using the same exploit, just discovered independently.

Key is likely obfuscated in the firmware. Either way congrats on being first I guess. We'll see if that causes any problems though.

No, they just hardcode the keys on their code to avoid the use of sept, but I'm sure that they use the same exploit to extract them
