If you have the correct boot0/boot1 and the raw gpt nand backup you can try, you can always wait for atmosphere to add support.
Nope, i have only the .nca files to put in choidoujour, i haven't any backups, there is no way to enter in that app from hekate?

Just wait for atmosphere to add support, as you have no NAND backup you can't downgrade.
K, fine thanks, i will wait.
I had a really bad idea to install cfw without making a backup lol, now i can't play online anymore...

There is a guide anywhere? I'm curious and bored rn lol

It is a really long tedious process and even I advise aginst it. If you dont have you console biskeys it's even longer and harder to do.

The base guide is on sdsetup

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I should also note doing it and messing up can brick your switch

Oh you have got to be kidding me!!!

I JUST updated to FW 8.1 without burning fuses because there's a new game with online compatibility that I want to play which releases soon, and I checked the damn "Exploits, Custom Firmwares & Soft Mods" forum for info just like this before I updated and saw no warning...

I've burned too many fuses already. Guess I have to play the waiting game now:/

Thanks for the heads up anyway Drax

Um excuse me, but i was going to homebrew my switch until i just found this out -yes this is my first time doing this on a nintendo switch. i did homebrew my 3ds like years ago. Anyway i ended up -without knowing of this, ended up updating my nintendo switch. And i went on ahead to check how to homebrew the switch on here, and i followed the site for the nintendo switch homebrew guide that was left on one of the forms that was pinned underneath the category for the switch. -Once, i went there i noticed that, the one who made the guide is having problems, but he did mention this; 'Version 8.1.0 currently does not boot from Hekate, both Atmosphere and stock firmware. To boot Atmosphere, please follow these steps until Hekate is updated.' -So i was wondering is it still possible for me to homebrew my switch through Atmosphere while being on 8.1? Or should i just wait until sciresm actually fixes the problem? Oh, and -no i haven't touched my switch yet -just checked this out first before anything lol.

I ended up checking his twitter account, and found out myself. Also i would like to know -do i really need a peperclip to do the jig for RCM?? Or do i not need it??? Because, I am a bit afraid of doing it -and i am on the post of how to do it. I just wanted to know if that is an important step to make Atmosphere boot up on my nintendo switch for homebrew to work completely? Sorry if i am asking too many questions. -Edit: just to make it clear i cannot go online while i am on homebrew of my nintendo switch? Also, is it true that i can homebrew my switch just by using one of my accounts, and if that one by -example get's caught -can i actually use a different account that i have on my switch as profiles or it will affect all of my profiles on my nintendo switch -if i get banned or in trouble?? Would like to know this, because i am not sure how the homebrew works while i am just using one profile -like can i turn off the homebrew feature or is it gonna like stay there o.o;;..again sorry if i am asking too many questions or i sound dumb ;-;"
