Forget about xorpad stuff. Dump the boot9.bin to save yourself the headache.I tried using that, but for some reason, my gm9 wont let me.dump it
Ive done this too. I followrd the directions. but every time i drag the 3ds file It just opens and then immediately closesForget about xorpad stuff. Dump the boot9.bin to save yourself the headache.
3dsconv is another option and is slightly more accurate producing CIAs with the correct region info.
Don't use xorpads, they're ancient and deprecated.Dumping xorpads with gm9 then using 3ds converter tool on pc
That reason is because nowadays they are completely useless.for some reason, my gm9 wont let me.dump it
Try just redumping the game as a cia, it sounds like your copy is corruptedevery time i drag the 3ds file It just opens and then immediately closes
It's more likely that 3dsconv is printing an error, and adding a pause to the batch file would show it. But the better way would be to re-dump from the game card anyway.Try just redumping the game as a cia, it sounds like your copy is corrupted

If you follow the instructions I posted about the BAT (batch script) text file, you put the *.3ds roms in theIve done this too. I followrd the directions. but every time i drag the 3ds file It just opens and then immediately closes
You have to make it yourself with text editor like Notepad.I didnt even get a batch file lol
Ok im on it, I'll keep you posted if it doesn't workIf you follow the instructions I posted about the BAT (batch script) text file, you put the *.3ds roms in the 3ds folder. After double clicking the BAT, it'll spit out *.cia in the cia folder. 3dsconv also won't work unless you provide the boot9.bin.
You have to make it yourself with text editor like Notepad.
That idea I suggested to ThoD is to recreate 3dsconv like the setup found in the program, 3ds to cia converter.
It just opened up and closed back outOk im on it, I'll keep you posted if it doesn't work
Slight correction on that post. Put *.3ds files in the roms folder. **Ok im on it, I'll keep you posted if it doesn't work
It was exactly like it was supposed to be in this threadSlight correction on that post. Put *.3ds files in the roms folder. **
Check the cia folder if they're in there.
Do you have the boot9.bin (Size: 64.0 KB - CRC32: E0989F6D) next to the 3dsconv.exe?
To obtain your copy, read here.
Just triple checking to make sure the setup is good.It was exactly like it was supposed to be in this thread
