Oh I've already re-installed the few ones I had, not a big deal for me at all since I mostly rely on .xci to play my games... But I just thought I should report that the corrupted nsp issue happened to me as well.

Tks ;D
ok so thread is "closed" now?

Had this happen to me with Smash Bros, just installed an update over the game and it was fine. Still concerning though. Also after updating to 7.1.0 and using Kosmos.

Do this. If you want to keep Kosmos stuff, just replace Atmo folder, and fuse-primary in your Kosmos card with the one in atmo repo. Replace sigpatches with the ones from gbatemp. Load fuse-primary through Hekate and you're good to go.

Otherwise just go full atmo. Fuse primary is the key.

If you have opened the game before with Kosmos payload, it will still tell you it's corrupted when you launch it with fuse-primary. However, run the corruption check and in the end it will work again.

Hope this helps.

I have the same issue : was full atmosphere (and hekate) on firmware 6.2 and all got corrupted when I upgraded through choiduJourNX to firmware 7.0.1 upgraded because I couldn't install Final Fantasy XII.
When all got corrupted, I restored my nand backup, and redid everything from scratch (atmosphere + fusee-primary + choidujour to 7.0.1) : everything was working fine until yesterday when I tried to usb-install with tinfoil 0.2.x the update for DB FighterZ ... crashed, had to reboot atmosphere and all "big games" (ssbu, dbfz, ff xii) got corrupted again :(

So my question is : should I format my 128gb sd card in fat32 and only usb install or still go with exfat ?

Well, what I was describing was a different problem, in which some games just say they're corrupted but that's related to Kosmos payload (hekate prevents some necessary patches, thus the corruption message). If this is your case, boot with fuse primary (if you're using hekate, make sure to choose payloads>fuse primary). Once booted, try to run the corruption check until the end. If this is your issue, the game should work again.

Give that a try, however, given that your problem started after a crash, it's more plausible that you may have real corruption. And having an exFAT card doesn't help. Corruption with exFAT is uncommon outside of retroarch BUT it does happen. May not be today or tomorrow, but it will eventually do. So... if you're using fuse primary already, redo you card in FAT32. If not, try what I said, but even if it works, change to FAT32 asap.

Hope it helps :)

I used ns-usbloader 0.4 + tinfoil 0.2x to usb install. After around 10 or so nsps I have to reboot the switch, otherwise I get a crash on install.

With goldleaf (and / or goldtree), it's always saying I'm missing some nca or that my firmware version is too low. Don't understand why since I have the right sigpatches ... but no probs with tinfoil.

Anyway, last try in exFat today, then if corruption happens again, fat32.

edit : my sd card has some physical problems ... my switch now refuses to take it, it says "can't read sd card, please reboot or format your sd card"

i also that combo (ns-usbloader+tinfoil). It usually works well but tinfoil is known to have probs with big batches so try to do it in small lists (less than 5 nsp's at a time) and close and reopen tinfoil after that. The only nsp that it couldn't handle till now was the last mk update. Goldleaf installed it though.

But yeah, at this point just go for fat32 so you can take that out of the way.

FWIW, I'd been using cheap, no name microSD cards and kept getting corrupted data. I've since bought a name brand microSD and it's solved all my problems (basically my microSD was getting corrupted every few days).

Just my two sens,

I ran into the same problem when using kosmos no matter how many time I reinstalled the games it was corrupted.

I booted up with Reinx and everything worked and havent had an issue sense. (Make sure to delete kosmos & atmos folder )

That sometimes happens for me for smash bros and some other games. I use atmosphere though, for whatever reason restarting my switch or reloading the payload fix’s the corrupted save data. I sometimes think this issue happens because I only did a quick format to fat32 and not a full format.

Edit
Reread your post and I’m not to sure if you were talking about the game itself or save data, as far as I remember for me, it’s save data that is corrupted but I’ll eventually find out again, the next time I get the message, if I get it again.

Yeah, for some reason it doesn't seem to happen right away. If you reinstall them with a different title installer it shouldn't happen again.
what about goldleaf, using NS-USBloader to install from usb.
is that stable?

i remember i installed most of my older games with the built in installer long ago and most of them corrupted after updating recently.

is it safe to do usb installation for those, it would be easier for me to install with that method so im asking.

Sure, but Goldleaf only supports installing one game over USB at a time, so I prefer http://tinfoil.io

The page is always slow for me as well. Well the way nut server works is very different from Goldleaf's USB installation. Goldleaf requires you to select a nsp on the PC side, and then you have to confirm on the Switch to start the installation. You can only select one nsp at a time (at least in Goldtree, not sure about NS-USBLoader), and every time you have to confirm on the Switch. Nut server just lists all the games on your PC within Tinfoil itself and you can select what to install there, and it has a queue so you can add multiple games to install (or all of them)

It supports both USB and wifi. CFW doesn't matter, SX Installer (the separate download) is actually based on Tinfoil just with a custom theme, but it's not up to date.

gotcha thx, i will use tinfoil then.

i literally lost all the games that i installed through album (sxos) (due to corruption) ,haha I'll never install that way again.

non of the games I've installed through goldleaf usb installation got corrupted

@The Real Jdbye hey mate, after an hour or so of fiddilng with tinfoil i got things figured out (the usual way with nut server required titleids of the nsps and i renamed most and was too lazy to go look for them).

so what i did was , i used ns usbloader picked tinfoil (something called tinfoil usbfix nro) and i could install many games at once, but the thing is after a bunch of titles install i get a crash ,my switch errors on me and tells me to power off --'

so i dont think this is as stable as the built in installer considering it crashing, crashed twice on me , so i bet these games will corrupt at one point again.
