Hacking VitaCheat/FinalCheat Database

No Trinity is gone. Somehow I can re-activate my cfw by going to browser and it will enable the prompt. Then press R1 to reconstruct or whatever then boom henkaku is back. but then... if I reboot, it's gone again.. how can I restore it to the state that I don't need to do the whole process everytime i reboot?

Install Enso. Henkaku by itself goes away after each reboot. Has that been the problem this whole time? -_- Brother... these things can REALLY mess up your vita if you do them wrong... Read carefully every instruction before installing... Here's a guide to install enso, the permanent CFW. You said 3.60, right? if you need 3.65 just change it in the URL.

Just that one dude who told me to follow that cursed method on installing vitacheats messed up my whole system since he was the only one who responded, i did it. I got enso on my vita also.

After doing everything on that first page, go to the next one: "Finalizing setup". You need to install ReFOOD and NoNpDRM at least. The others are optional.

ok.. so I'm at the part where whenever I install ReFOOD and Nondprm via autoplugin, it will reboot my system after I'm done right? Now, after the reboot it seems it didn't install them cause everytime I boot autoplugin it creates a config file or something..

Then don't use autoplugin. I already mentioned that it is probably using outdated plugins anyway. All your plugins (except ones that say otherwise, like vitacheat) should be placed in ur0:tai/ and you need to add them to the ur0:tai/config.txt. NoNpDRM and ReFOOD should be placed under *KERNEL in the config file.

Send me a PM if you need more help so we don't clog up the VitaCheat thread. This is no longer a VitaCheat issue. Or, create a new thread on the forum, as I may not know the answer to all the issues.

Trying to hack Fruit Ninja to make a tutorial for the new TempAR, but I've run into an issue... I can't save my DB for some reason (pressing up on LStick does nothing) and trying to dump memory gives error "memory dump fail: -1073741826"

Anyone seen this before and maybe know how to fix? Works fine in other games...

Have you tried deleting (back it up beforehand, of course) the whole db folder?

This is the same issue I encounter sometimes when editing/saving on Vitacheat. I need to either delete the .PSV file I'm working on (either directly from Vitashell or from the USB function for PC), or replace it with a new file (doesn't matter if it's a blank file or not). No matter what I do, my cheats aren't saved, and they don't seem to be loaded after reboots.

I don't really know what causes it, but it has happened to me before. Maybe too much time on the menu, which in turn causes some memory/load issue? I can't think of anything else TBH as it's really random.

Yes I've seen this happen with jetpack joyride the regular one not deluxe, tried everything i could think of but couldn't get it to save no matter what, i ended up writing down the codes amd adding them thru vitashell and the psv loads up fine with all the cheats, just can't save any for some reason, i had added this to the issues in finalcheat github so hopefully it's fixed in a future update.

No luck on getting Fruit Ninja to let me make mem dumps or save codes. Tried deleting the old PSV, tried making a new psv in vitashell, renamed entire DB folder to DB_ .... Nothing works. Guess I'll have to use a dif game... which sucks cuz that one had lvl 1 and lvl 2 pointers, so I could reuse some of the pictures. XD

Bare in mind that unless you have the enso hack that lets you have the hack set to on all the time you simply need to open h-encore each time you power off your vita and then select install h-encore from the list,then exit it,now it will let you play your installed games.

What do you want to cheat? I can help you to find it. Money and material is super easy modifiy. Character's stat can be founded by using 00XX00YY (XX and YY is the base value of two stats in hex type ). And remember to set search range from 8EXXXXXX to 91XXXXXX.

Can you post some screenshots? I don't really know how to do it

Made an infinite thorn meter for Freedom Wars US with a lot of help from Yohoki. Added to the PCSA00147.psv Things are a lot easier to find knowing the game swaps memory.

Also made an Emma HP code for Metal Gear Solid 2 US because screw that sniper mission on hard. I'm actually not sure if it works on anything before the sniper mission. I probably should just call it "Sniper mission Infinite HP" or something until I can test it.

Glad to see that helped! pretty sure ammo and Civilians rescued can be hacked pretty easy as well. Sentence length is also pretty easy to find. I'll look into helping with Items/mods pretty soon.

I thought about ammo but there's so many gun types in this game that I feel like I'd only end up finding 1 for that specific gun I'm using as testing, I can still take a look. For sentence length though I might have to make a new save since mine is already at 0 and I can't remember how to increase it. Actually, I can't remember much about this game. I played and beat FW back in 2015 and forgot everything since then (except for that insane grind to make the perfect weapon).

Ammo probably isn't based on what type of gun is equipped. It's more likely based on item slot. So weapon slot 1 will have it's ammo in one address, weapon slot 2 will have it's own and weapon 3 will also have one. I don't know what happens if you activate infinite ammo on a sword, but it wouldn't hurt to find out. If it crashes the game for swords, I can make a fix for it.
