Thanks, weirdly this didnt work for me. I could only set the path for both games and themes to the 'Switch' folder - so I had to put the themes in here in order to make the emu display the 'modern' theme. Maybe the emu is also looking for the keyboard control option in here and I need to move another file here from the Scummvm folder...

You don’t need to move any folders or files around. Just unzip the archive and copy to sd card.

The modern theme is selected by default and the theme path etc. are set up by default on the Switch already. You don’t have to mess with any paths or move any files.

Just select add game and then select your folder that contains the game.

I suggest re-installing. Please also remember to make sure your archive flag is not set anywhere and there’s no file corruption on your sd card.

I believe you can also tilt the switch to portrait mode to bring up the keyboard. Or maybe I’m thinking of the iPad version lol

I think somebody just has to compile the source code using the latest scummvm Version and SDL2 version. I might give it a shot later.

Maybe @cpasjuste could rebase and compile? ;)

I just tested it and it works. Also note that Roland MT-32 emulation works perfectly on Switch. Just put the two files MT32_CONTROL.ROM and MT32_PCM.ROM in `switch/scummvm/` folder on SD card, and select "MT-32 Emulation" in the options.

Personally, I still like the good old OPL Soundblaster Midi sound better, but MT-32 Emulation sounds quite professional.

Apparently the games I tried are working flawlessly.
What I wasn’t able to make it work was the keyboard and mouse. It’s the first time I plug my Logitech k400 to the NX and I’m not sure I didi it right.
For example, in Indy 4 the cursor doesn’t move but where i left click Indy starts moving . And in the search box in the main menu, if I move the mouse, some numbers shows up, like if I was pressing the number pad.
I will give it another try this evening (CET :))

Definitely my Logitech k400 keyboard+mouse is incompatible. I plugged my Logitech G700s and is working, sluggish, but working.

Thank you for the updated version.

@rsn8887 Is it normal that when I edit a game to override the MT-32 settings, the dropdown MT-32 Device menu is greyed out and nothing can be chosen?? It´s not the normal behaviour in windows.

Also, can FluidSynth be implemented?. I think would be more useful that TIMIdity (that relays in another app not available for NX)

Edit: Every time I select OpenGL, the app crashes

OpenGL is not supported, timidity is not supported but I forgot to disable the option. Mt32 emulation works if you have the correct rom files, but it is a bit confusing in the options. There are separate options for real mt32 and emulated mt32 you have to look.

Btw graphics filtering should always be enabled, otherwise the pixels look horrible. It is the first thing I adjusted after booting ScummVM.

From what i remember opengl renderer was working at some point. I may take a closer look someday. But from what I remember there was not filters available so it does not worth it.
