hi guys,

since goldleaf 0.5 is just corrupting some installs that work fine when installed from SD (via tinfoil 1.57).

how do I use tinfoils USB install method? I tried connecting my NTFS drive directly to the switch, but it does not work.

best wishes!

Thanks for your reply. I found out that NS-USBloader in combination with the old tinfoil 0.2.1 lets me install everything (even batch installs) that goldleaf and other installer would not do.

Well if u do or wanna try ok me know I had trouble but then I got it

how did you make it?
This is the way I did it make sure to have the latest tinfoil from here:
https://tinfoil.io/Download#download
( And next go here to Download Nut )
https://gbatemp.net/threads/nut-gui-usb-and-network-installer-for-tinfoil-and-sx-installer.531327/ for the post
( or )
https://github.com/blawar/nut/releases
( and do this on your pc )
1. Download Zadig from https://zadig.akeo.ie/.
2. With your switch plugged in and Tinfoil running,
choose "List All Devices" under the options menu in Zadig, and select libnx USB comms.
3. Choose libusbK from the driver list and click the "Replace Driver" button.
4. run nut.exe
5. Start tinfoil on the switch, and either connect the USB cable from the switch to your PC, or set up a nut server location using the information displayed in nut server.

Did it work for you

I was having some issues with Goldleaf too, learned that some files was corrupted on newer firmwares, and some just needed to uncheck "read only" on PC. Now everything is working like a charm.
