Hacking Bought used WiiU, need help. Please~

***PLEASE READ THIS FIRST***

Ok, First things first. Let me just tell you that i got no clue about WiiU! I never even saw WiiU live before, nor played it or even tried it.
I was aware of its existence and games library and such, but i have never played or saw it irl or its menu, let alone hacks for it!

So now that you know that im a WiiU noob (saibot) could you please talk in simple terms.

Also i hacked many consoles before like PSP, Wii, 3DS, Vita and such... so i am not a tottal noob, but still, those are all guided atempts, i have no tallent for such stuff, just common sense and intelligence, so i do have some experience in mods hacks etc.

OK! So now that THAT'S out of the way....


So about the WiiU:
First of all, im afraid of the bricking the console heh


Just yesterday (19.05.2019.) i bought used, black, 32GB WiiU.
It's a pretty good deal for where i live (150 euros) The WiiU looks nice, no cracks, works great,
battery is great in the controller, all buttons are perfect. It looks and works as intended.
Also he gave me micro SD with adapter. The SD is 16GB.

The guy who sold me the WiiU is (as i'm aware) second owner of the console. He told me he bought it from a guy and that's it. So i'm 3rd person.

The First owner (let's call him John) has set up a NNID account on a WiiU
and we (My self and the second owner (Let's cal him Greg)) we don't know his NNID account password, so i cant delete his account from WiiU!
But Greg gave me his, so that's no problem.
Accounts are no real problem to me, but i want clean, fresh, my own and updated (hacks) WiiU!~

That leads me to my first question: How can i delete his account without formatting WiiU, and IS IT SAFE to format WiiU???
Which leads me to another question...


So the console....Here is what i know and what the guy told me...

As U can see in top right corner, the system version is 5.5.3E (It's a EUROPE / PAL Wii).
I asked Greg (the second owner) about the update, he told me that console was updated when he wanted to play splatoon online, since that required him to update to the latest System.

Another thing he told me is that in order to go to HBL i need to go to browser and type url (loadiine (dot) ovh / index (dot) php?|=552) and than go to that website and
choose "Homebrew Launcher (JsTypeHAX)" and the HBL loads with some apps.
I tried loading it without an SD and its saying "FSGetMountSource failed." on both screens with black background.
With the SD in WiiU, it loads normally. I'm not sure why do i need internet connection and browser to enter whats on the SD. That would be another question!

(And im writing all this so you can have better understanding of my console.
I got NO IDEA is it hacked, what hack it has, is it outdated, what can i do what i can't etc... i DON'T knw where to start so im writing here, to you guys and hoping you can help me

So about the SD card. When i inserted it into My PC there are some files:

Anyway, i played with folders and found some Nindendo DS games in this format "zeldaph.zip"
That is inside "root/ haxchi/ haxchi" folder. I presume those are NDS game, now i dont know if roms or legal ones.... when i unzip they are in .nds format and about 60KB in size...

Also in install folder on root, i found "WUP-P-ARDP" folder and its 1.66GB in size. I searched Google and it said its Super Mario 3D world.
In it are some .app .cert .tik .tmd files. He has that game and he told me he put it on a console.
There are 5 games on it right now. Mario kart 8, super mario 3d world, splatoon, showel knight, pikmin 3.
But only of SM3D land im sure he ripped them him self or at least he said he put SM3D land on a wii..whatever that means...

Inside Wii (the original Wii channel) there is nothing on Wii menu, just fast racing neo game. I dont know if and how i can play downloaded games on Wii from WiiU..do i hack it like my regular wii and how...

About the card... inside the card, root/wiiu there are 3 folder (apps, games, saves) idk what are those for but i can guess, but dont know exactly, but inside apps there are all those apps that i see when i load HBL from browser...so they are all on my sd not online...so i dont get it, why do i need browser if Wiiu is hacked, and if its not hacked how can i play games that are installed on it?!

Im just so confused and dont know what to look and what cani do and cant.

About the accounts..idk if deleting account and everything with it will brick the WiiU. I dont want ANOTHER account, i want Wiiu as if i just bought it and hacked it with my stuff on it.

Can i just format it (i guess not or its risky if its hacked)

I guess thats all the info i know...


Im sorry if this is a bit long and confusing, but i wanted to give many info so you can better help, and probably someone else also ^^

Whay i want from WiiU:

-I want clean system, with updated hack, permanent ones.
-I want to play WiiU, Wii, GC, VC games, emulators, apps that i downloaded online, and legal copies also.
-I want JUST MY NNID account, not from past two owners.
-I want to be able to play games like mario kart (legal copy or not), online, with others, or maybe with some of you guys ^^

My Main Question is:
Can you help me clan and update my WiiU and figure out whats been done to it? Please?~

OH! Also! USB helper is not working How am i supposed to do that now...

If you do not know the passwords you will not get around a factory reset. The files on the card are not required to start the console if Haxchi + CBHC is installed on it. And besides, you can not really start with the files anyway, since you need a legally bought game for Haxchi and CBHC anyway. Otherwise your console will brick. Does a "Autobooting" menu pops up when you turn on the console? If so, obviously CBHC is installed and it would not be very wise to format the console. Is there a "Do not touch me" icon or "Haxchi" icon anywhere?

search for a ds vc game installed on the console. you can search on the menu and folders created on the menu. you dont have cbhc since the version is 5.5.3E and if cbhc was installed, it would be 99.99.99E. you can feel free to reset it

This site here is your friend. And yes you can format it. The only way to restore a nand backup is a hardmod. There is no stuff like priiloader or bootmii. Follow the guide carefully which i have linked and you should be fine. Install haxchi with a legally bought compatible ds vc game from the eshop, make a nand backup for the case anything goes wrong and if you like install cbhc.

-Do you mean i cant do a factory reset without his password?
But i dont use that account anyway, its the second guy's account that is active atm on a WiiU, and he gave me the password. Will that work? If not, how the heck do i do a factory reset than if needed?

-I do not know what that is. If you mean "Quick Start" than yes its turned on in "System settings --> Power settings --> Quick start" if...that is...what you..mean...not sure

Also i noticed something strange (idk if that helps or not..) from all 5 games i have on system menu, i see only Mario Kart 8 on Quick Start when i turn ON the console!
Whats up with that?? where are other 4....I did not hide them!

A hardmod requires soldering skills. And dont write colored...its bad for my eyes

When you use cbhc yes. Follow the guides and read the "Not do's" when you want to use cbhc. I use it since a year and no problems atm. All the bricked consoles here are 100% user errors

Before doing anything search on system settings/data management/internal storage. (Go to settings) and search for a tile named haxchi or a ds Vc game. If you one or both, delete it (or them) and then you can reformar your console. I saw you are using a hard drive, you will not be able to use it after formatting the console

Edit: By the way, if it means anything...nano assault neo and fast racing neo are the only games that do not work by the way!

Also i just downloaded loadiine game "zelda TP HD" and put it on SD and loaded it with loadiine and it works, but it seems slow. and i heard you cant go online with loadiine

i mean does running HBL from web browser exploit means i have normal haxchi...is that normal haxchi you refer to? And are those two methods only ones available curently?

By the way, CBHC doesnt sound so scary, i mean i cant really accidentally delete od move that DS game unless i really want to, right?
what happens if i delete NNID that i used to buy the game with, will that brick? or is there a procedure to remove the game and make WiiU virgin again?

You have nothing installed atm. I think you should read this here before you install anything on your console. Read this. And follow then the guide. This is interesting for people who do not really know where to start and what they do with their consoles.

I have no problem formatting a WiiU, in fact i want to, i just want to understand what i'm doing and what will effect what, and thanks to you guys i have a better grasp of things now

So formatting WONT brick it?

Im only mentioning previous owners because idk what they did thats hidden and if i format and there is something, that something will cause the brick.
Im scared man! i just bought the wii u and had a hard time affording it eh

Its the 2nd or 3rd time where i write to you...No. Your console will not brick. Why should it be? There are no hax on your console installed.
