ROM Hack Question pokemon lets go Ipega and procontroller support mods

Is there any mods? or will someone make a mod? that would allow me to use
IPEGA PG-9083
with pokemon lets go. its a bluetooth handheld mode alternative for people with big hands. i dont play on the tv and my joycons are broken due to nintendos faulty design. and cheap thumb sticks. and i refuse to buy more because #1 they are too small and #2 they will just break again.

Are these controllers recognized as a Pro Controller on Switch or are they recognized as Joy-cons? If it's recognized as a Pro Controller then you're pretty much waiting with the rest of us for a solution since Let's Go only uses Joy-cons. hid-mitm may eventually be able to map other controllers to Joy-con input.

You're not alone though. I for one really want to play Let's Go on my TV with a pro controller using the handheld motion controls rather than the throwing motions.

Also afaik this behaviour can't be easily modded but I haven't dug into the Let's Go files that much. But if it were easy it likely would've been done by now.

Pro control is not needed, the game can be played with 1 joy stick and 2 buttons for crying out loud

Well I don't really care what controller I use, as long as the Switch can be fooled into thinking it's being played in handheld so I can just aim and press A to throw a pokeball. Though the Pro Controller would be the most comfortable option.

Buy a joystick online, its cheap, and change it yourself, its easy enough....
