Hacking SX-OS will work with FW 7.01 Right?

Not talking emu but if you have sxos and install N's 7.01 FW (via offline method) SX-OS functionality for backups still works right? I'm on 6.2 - just want to make sure b/c I've been out of the forums for some time and I googled but seeing mixed messages.

I see a thread about how sx-os could be supporting 8.0 via beta so I think 7.01 should be fine but just double checking before I update the fW today thanks

I'm not sure why you're getting an error, but everything works as intended. You're positive it's not a user error?

Running SX 2.7/2.7.1 on an 8.0.1 emuNAND.

Anyways OP, everything works. You can safely update the firmware to 8.0.1 with ChoiDujourNX, but just make sure you update your SX version to either 2.7.1 before doing so, otherwise you will just get a black screen when you boot.

That error is mostly due to having a custom theme installed its not the sxos you need to delete the 0100000000001000 folder in sdCard:/<your cfw>/titles
Other than that everything works fine, there maybe some game data not being recognized which will require a nsp reinstall and certain themes will not work properly without using the touch screen

Yes have installed custom theme with theme installer i will try unistall theme and then updating system

Yes, everything worked then I uninstalled custom theme strange it never happens for me before. so i will need to wait before installing custom theme to switch :/

You can install a custom theme on 8.0.1 the NX installer just needs you to dump your new home screen so that its compatible to it.

Aslong you uninstall custom themes first you are fine. The new sxos supports 8.0.1

SX OS works on 8.0.1 and lower now, but when new Switch updates are released, it takes TX longer than other custom firmwares to add support.
