Hey all, so I messed up. After updating my OFW to 8.0.1 I wasn't able to use CFW until SXOS released their update today. So I updated and my sxos boot started working again but wasn't allowing me to get into emunand. So i went to restore my boot0 & boot1 not remembering that it was a backup from an older firmware and now my switch won't boot at all. After looking around I found what seems to be a way to generate a new boot0 & boot1, but im stuck at the section of the tutorial where I have to provide keys.txt. I've looked around and im kind of stuck here as I'm not sure how or where im supposed to get keys.txt... further im not sure if I need the keys.txt from v8.0.1 since thats the version of boot0 & boot1 I'm trying to generate. PLEASE HELP!

You can use lockpick rcm to get your keys I guess (gets you keys.dat aka keys. Txt etc. .). But I don't know how to get the boot and 1 generated. Sorry :(

https://github.com/shchmue/Lockpick_RCM

And biskey you need. Also rcm(biskeydump)
Not sure if it can read them out though.. But it s a try

Just try that out with your tutorial. If it works It s good else:

you could just restore your whole backup. Nand plus boot0 boot1 and then update using ChoixDujourNX to the latest version (uncheck autorcm then) that way you have a good boot 0 boot1 again but lose Nand content. Better than a brick ^^

Hey,
I was scrambling and then I remembered that I did an older nand backup and put it on my PC. So I was able to just restore that, and then upgrade that. My backup saved me from having to create unique boots (0 & 1) with the tools. I never got a chance to fully look into how to handle the KEYS file.

*password removed* by the way... Let it be said... msg me or ask someone here for it ;)

1) Unzip file

2) Make folders on SD card like this...

a) Make "backup" folder
b) Go into backup folder and make a BACKUP_1 folder inside of it
c) Go into backup/BACKUP_1 folder and make another folder called BOOTS
d) Drop the included 8.0.1 BOOT0/1 into this BOOTS folder

3) Launch included switchboot with tegraRCMsmash... Go to backup/restore

4) Go to restore

5) go to restore with no size check

6) New boot0/1 will be written...

7) It will take you to RCM menu if you want to enable autoRCM or not... all on screen

8) boot normally.
