L4T Ubuntu
Intro
L4T Ubuntu is a version of Linux based on nvidia's linux for tegra project. It uses a different kernel compared to previous releases which allows it to use features not yet in mainline. Such as audio, docking support and vulkan.

How are most people setting this up?

I can't see to get an on screen keyboard at Setup, OTG doesn't work and neither the dock.
Any ideas on what to do?

I regularly use in home switching to play games, in fact it's probably what I use my switch for the most at the minute.

Does anyone know if it would perform better if I ran the Linux moonlight client through this, especially with the sound support and video acceleration, or would I be better off just carrying on as I am?
I would say yes. Latency should be lower and battery life should be much improved. Hardware decoding is way faster.
Thanks, but my laptop doesn't have nvidia gpu, so I think Steam streaming is my most realistic option - hopefully the official android app will work when we do get android :)
There are other options for game streaming that people have been using (not specifically with the Switch) that don't need a Nvidia card. The thing with Steam streaming is that Steam Linux doesn't run on ARM. But there should be other options that do.

If you want to switch back to CFW, you simply change the micro sd back? Also there is no risk of getting banned from Nintendo? I guess so because it doesn’t connect to their servers.

Appreciate the response mate! I'll give it a go and report back with performance.

I have a switch with a dead screen. Will this work or I need the screen to select something somewhere?
Edit: on the dock of course.
Hey, you have Twitter or something to DM? I can put together a zip for you to try. I use my switch as a media center basically. So the whole dead screen thing sucks!

You have done something wrong at some point, try re writing to sdcard

i'm really really sad i can't even go trough the setup process. Tried everything, but after select the L4T confing on Hekate all i get is a black screen, wich stays forever or reboot to RCM again. if someone manage to fix it, i'll be very greatefull.
Anyway, thank you @bylaws for you work!

Gotta love having setup all your software and files, only for kodi to take over once you reboot your computer. Every time I login, it autoboots Kodi.

Awesome. Few hours down the drain there.

You can ssh in and fix from there
Manually open it.
You can do that by tapping the 4 squares in top right and selecting show.

Can anyone try and see if this command works in the terminal "hcitool dev" and see if you get a mac-address.
