What do you think happened most likely?

  • Nintendo DMCA'd them.

  • TX took the money and ran .

  • TX was loosing money because of ATMOS so they couldn't afford to pay their bills.

  • Standard TX hate comment.

Objecting to being lied to is a normal, basic human thing. Defending proven liars is the hallmark of a bad person. Don't be a bad person.

Couldn't agree more, after-all given TX's past should any of us really be surprised at how little they care about being transparent with their paying customers, this is the exact reason since TX came out I questioned their practices, the writing was on that wall at how little morals they had as business of pirates, but it's a damn shame people took up pitch forks against the life boats just trying to save them from the sinking ship.

In situations like these some say ignorance is bliss, but in the end ignorance won't save anyone from the consequence that'll inevitably arise.

Can we hack new Switches now? Because I get a RMA of my banned one, so curious if I can hack my new Switch as well. Or if I keep it "normal" for now.

is Incocnito actually bulletproof to not get banned? It sounds way to easy lol.
uh, maybe? It basically deletes all of your console unique stuff (cert, serial number, etc), I wouldn't recommend it because if you lose all prodinfo backups you have, you're basically fucked forever
(edit: messing with anything that messes with prodinfo/cal0 is probably a bad idea)

If you're already banned its a wonderful tool

Okay, uh to clear up some misconceptions:

  • Sigpatches are not violating copyright. They're patches made in the IPS format, which you can find a documentation on here: http://fileformats.archiveteam.org/wiki/IPS_(binary_patch_format) The non technical tldr is that it's purely patching and the format doesn't contain any copies of the original binaries (IPS patches are as a result one way only). They do violate a specific DMCA clause, but everything relating to homebrew exploits does already plus it's one of the least enforced clauses of the DMCA (and is usually only enforced in the below situation.)
  • SXs XCI loading does violate copyright. Specifically, it contains headers from gamecards (locatable by searching for LOTUS in any decrypted version of SX OS), which are copyrighted to Nintendo and cannot legally be included unless they have official permission from Nintendo (to which I say: LOL.)
Hope that clarifies these misconceptions.

All of this stuff violates some sort of license. You can go around bashing Xecuter for violating copyrights, licenses and the DCMA, but what exactly are you doing by using an alternative to launch copies of commercial video games? If you're going to start bringing up legalities to defend your position on Xecuter then you shouldn't be in a console modding scene and copying games makes you just as if not more guilty as them.

Does other cfw have permission from nintendo to circumvent security measures to install/use unsigned stuff? No, to which i say: lol

No they don't. Installing any form on CFW or running unsigned code breaks licenses. Top on the people that use copied games (no matter if they back them up themselves) breaks even more (including laws like the DCMA). These morons go around whining about something when they are doing the same if not worse themselves. I have a simple solution to making it hard for another person or company to not use your code in a manner you don't like - How about you don't post it on a public site that anyone can view?
