Flaming of Gary? I literally just told you this is the first time I've posted against Gary or TX, and I've only posted due to the fact that Gary has lied to us. What is troubling is that as of right now, you can purchase SX-OS but you CANNOT activate it. Not a great situation to be in.

Best case: This is very poor planning of a server move and yet another TX thread will die a natural death in due course.
Worst case: There has been an unexpected domain seizure. In that case, TX may reappear on another domain or they may not. Either way, not good for business or end users.

Ironically, we SX-OS users are at the mercy of their DRM in this situation.

It's a pity that the nature of console modding for profit seems to mandate DRM (eg TrueBlue PS3 dongle), usually until such time as the free solutions become obviously better than the paid solutions.

I'm guessing guys theyer just going to buy a new domain. They probably dont want a website that cant be listed on google. Though a temporary shouldve been up by now, dunno they mightve gotten scared of the dmca and took their profits and ran, perhaps not being able to steal reswitched mariko exploit/cfw being free has killed them.

I'm gonna just chime in here 'cause there's a bit of ambiguity and dodging going on.

Worst case scenario:

There's been a DMCA relating to the SXOS plugin that allowed users to download full nintendo games (incredibly stupid thing to advertise), said plugin is not developed by team-xecuter but does exist on their platform, and Nintendo tend to do broad strokes with flimsy arguments. So what this probably means that website related to said plugin is going to get super shafted for publicly reselling Nintendo IP, and in retaliation, TX has gotten a flimsy DMCA filed directly to their registrar which they now have to contest (and they'll win because they don't actually link or sell any of Nintendo's IP), all because of this crappy plugin that everybody knew would be a bad idea, especially to publicize it...

So basically, it's probable that TX got hit with a broad stroke from Nintendo's DMCA that's ultimately going to bear no fruit, anybody affiliated with TX is going to dodge any accusations regardless of whether they know or not... Chances are none of the affiliates are aware of the situation. All because of a shitty tool that enables piracy that is NOT made by TX even though people keep saying it is. It's a known fact it's made by the same chinese team behind Gateway/StarGate 3DS, either way it's probably safe to expect a minimum of another 24 hours of down time.

Alternative scenario:

Everything is make-believe and the domain has been locked upon request of the domain name holder using typical standards (read the iCANN page, it does say "uncommon" followed by "usually") and Team-Xecuter are actually just migrating data to new servers, in which case... Expect a minimum of another 24 hours of down time.

Conclusion:

It doesn't even matter, Team-Xecuter isn't gone and will be back shortly, the fantasies of people who love to hate are running rampant. Chill and don't try spread falsities about things nobody actually knows about, probably even including known Team-Xecuter affiliates.

TX/Gateway/Stargate/StargateNX/True Blue/the old scene group Paradox, where the bulk of the talent involved in this criminal organization originated...they are all one criminal organization. And selling warez directly is a new low for them, but they were on the wrong side of the law well before they took that step.

DMCA is not at play here. DMCA is a US thing, the registrar used as well as the hosting provider used do not honor it.

The 'clientHOLD' is the only status code that matters here. Normally that means that you failed to pay your domain renewal bill. But that's not what happened here as the StargateNX domain has the same status code, and that domain is no where near a year old yet.
