Lots of unneeded drama in this thread.

I recently spoke with TX, and they inform me that they just moving and upgrading servers, and migration of all data, forums, etc. is occurring, and with DNS changes, there may be periods of downtime with sites showing offline, but all is good and its just continued part of their previous upgrades this one is more extensive and as such domains may from time to time be not available for access.

If i get more news from them, I will let everyone know.

You are lying, again. A domain being suspended and on clientHOLD has nothing to do with moving/upgrading servers. It means you are in some kind of trouble with your registar - unpaid bill or something. The registar opted to suspend your domain.

Gary clearly has the lying disease. I know a few people with it IRL, and it's sad. They just can never tell the truth. For whatever reason, they must always lie. It's sad. I just hope this isn't the end of support for those who paid.

I assume its because a lot of people try very hard to feel presidential.

On a side note, This isn't looking good for TX at this moment. Hopefully IF something did happen to prematurely end SXOS official development that one of the devs would be nice enough to open it up for others to continue its work.

I'm gonna just chime in here 'cause there's a bit of ambiguity and dodging going on.

Worst case scenario:

There's been a DMCA relating to the SXOS plugin that allowed users to download full nintendo games (incredibly stupid thing to advertise), said plugin is not developed by team-xecuter but does exist on their platform, and Nintendo tend to do broad strokes with flimsy arguments. So what this probably means that website related to said plugin is going to get super shafted for publicly reselling Nintendo IP, and in retaliation, TX has gotten a flimsy DMCA filed directly to their registrar which they now have to contest (and they'll win because they don't actually link or sell any of Nintendo's IP), all because of this crappy plugin that everybody knew would be a bad idea, especially to publicize it...

So basically, it's probable that TX got hit with a broad stroke from Nintendo's DMCA that's ultimately going to bear no fruit, anybody affiliated with TX is going to dodge any accusations regardless of whether they know or not... Chances are none of the affiliates are aware of the situation. All because of a shitty tool that enables piracy that is NOT made by TX even though people keep saying it is. It's a known fact it's made by the same chinese team behind Gateway/StarGate 3DS, either way it's probably safe to expect a minimum of another 24 hours of down time.

Alternative scenario:

Everything is make-believe and the domain has been locked upon request of the domain name holder using typical standards (read the iCANN page, it does say "uncommon" followed by "usually") and Team-Xecuter are actually just migrating data to new servers, in which case... Expect a minimum of another 24 hours of down time.

Conclusion:

It doesn't even matter, Team-Xecuter isn't gone and will be back shortly, the fantasies of people who love to hate are running rampant. Chill and don't try spread falsities about things nobody actually knows about, probably even including known Team-Xecuter affiliates.

Lying and be told the incorrect information are 2 different things. As long as my switch works with sxos and the website comes back up i really dont give a shit. Stop with the flaming of Gary FFS.
