All Wii U games you own that were ported to Switch can be obtained on the latest for 5$ each

So yea, I learned that today...
Apparently, Nintendo made this offer on their website
If you own a wii u game ported to Switch, Mario Kart 8 for exemple,
You can redeem a download code for the Switch version for only 5$ (USD)

Personally, I think this offer has come a bit late,
I'm pretty sure you all bought twice your games...

Anyway, the procedure is relatively simple :
If the Wii U version was a download/E-shop version, just link the Wii U Nintendo account to your Switch
Then, the price should appear reduced to 5$USD

If the Wii U version you own is physical,
just enter the serial code of the game in Redeem Code section of Switch Eshop
See? Very simple...

too late for me. I bought mk 8, hyrule warriors, tropical freeze, and captain toad (some discounted), but none were anywhere near $5. I also deliberately kept my accounts separate on the switch, since I wasn't sure what would happen if I was using a hacked wii u and an unhacked switch.
