Hacking does new games requires 6.2 and above?

im on 6.1 and im trying to install darksiders using tinfoil.. but i got an error "firmware too low to decrypt"
should i upgrade or are there other solutions?

Try ignore firmware when installing first but regardless you will eventaully need to update to play the latest game.

don't know about darksiders, but it's true that some games and updates now need masterkey 7, meaning only on firmware 7.0 and up
here's a list of games on top of my mind

• nuclear throne
• blaster master zero 2

just noticed that you were asking about 6.2 and you're still on 6.1, meaning you can only play games with masterkey 5
and there are lots of games requiring masterkey 6 already

Plenty of games nagging for 7.0 or failing to launch until after update . Mainly I notice it with eshop titles but have some xcis as well.

did you use ignore fw on install? I don't use xcis yet I am new on sx

NO NO NO, use lithium, tinfoil, whatever, just not gold leaf, its in early beta and buggy.. I always have issues

Gold leaf works fine here for me , OP try it see if it works with your issue,
