Just curious what these controller devices actually do to the switch to add extra controller compatibility. As much as I want to use my wiimote for some games like smash bros, I feel like these devices shouldn’t really be needed. The only reason I’m really thinking like this is because how devices that allowed homebrew and cfws weren’t really necessary after awhile. Flash carts included, although I believe flash cart to load into cfw is still being worked to load into cfw right away, can’t really remember. Still what is it about these devices that a homebrew to use wii controllers are not available.

Not possible without dongle emulating joy-con. Homebrew for now can't alter how BT works in HOS.

Possible? maybe
1. You need an adapter
2. You need "Frameworks" which can handle the Wii Mote
3. Who will use it when it works? Answer: Not many people, the most will it only test.
