Issues with the installer re virustotal are all false positives. You can even grab just the zip bundle from sourceforge and avoid the installer entirely if you want.
The zzl brick repair link is busted, but what's really weird is the 000 usage page redirects.... No other 000 page does this so I'm not sure why it's impacting just this one page, so I think you might be right, time to find new hosting. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. But please let me reassure you the issues are limited to the website, the application itself is safe.
Yup. See pics!!Can I delete all these files from "COPY_TO_SD" ? Since it's only going to check the "TEMP" folder for all future files? Or, are these "COPY_TO_SD" files now needed?
Short answer, the same temp folder supports both ModMii Classic (i.e. blue console window) and ModMii Skin (i.e. the GUI).And will this only work in the future with the blue CMD method of compiling various builds, or will the classic 32bitGUIversion check the same locations as the CMD blue screen version?
Shit, I just saw @Cyan's signature, ModMii might be broke temporarily, and ironically not from a lack of access to IOSs. I'll get around to investigating and updating ModMii's links to wherever the files are hosted now. We'll see if I might be able to fix it without an update but no promises. Definitely not tonight @ 1am and this weekend is nuts. But it's on my list. I got a love hate relationship with ModMii I tell you, we've been together a looong time.Filetrip is shutting down. If you encounter a filetrip's deadlink from one of my files, I can repost it. All my guides' pictures will be reuploaded when I'll have time.
Every time I personally use modmii for something I start with a brand new COPY_TO_SD folder. If you have a complete ModMii temp folder it can operate entirely offline without internet.
Short answer, the same temp folder supports both ModMii Classic (i.e. blue console window) and ModMii Skin (i.e. the GUI).
This Q is indirectly answered in the ModMii Command Line Usage section of the Usage page, go read it, read it now. It's calling to you, go *jedi mind trick*
Any thoughts on whether the ModMii Uninstaller should remove or retain the modmii "temp" folder?
Seconding this, just ask if the user wants to delete it.You could also give them the option to remove it or not in the uninstaller itself (just a simple checkbox.) That's probably the route I'd go if it were me.
Ok, so I wanna know another thing: Are the channels that can be installed (native, internet and wiispeak channels) all in their latest official versions?Newer doesn't always mean better, the versions of things used by ModMii are all stable.
Depending on your responses to different questions, modmii will save usb loader files to sd and/or USB.
File cleanup and all function of ModMii allow you to change the copy_to_sd directory. It prompts you to select you sd card drive letter. If you do that, then the file clean up and other functions will work exactly in the directory you've specified
That is an odd issue you're having with the internet channel.
