unless you've already upgrade to 7.x and didn't have a 6.2 emuNAND, then best to wait for a stable version.. beta releases are usually only for the cutting edge users who want to try new features. Since the only known new feature is 7.x compatibility, no need to update as yet if you don't need it.

As per my previous post which was removed.. if the thread is heavily moderated to keep the anti SX OS trolls out, then the thread strangely enough WILL be civil and contain useful information for existing SX OS users.

I think i am gonna update today to 7.01. Because i want to finish my retail games and if i'm done with that there should be a stable release, at least i hope so .

at this point it's pretty much 100% confirmed at they're either using a modified version of sept or they hardcoded the keys into SXOS (which would be significantly worse than using modified sept lol)

Even if sx was first to get new firmware support, they'd still bitch.

What they dont appreciate is that it was xecuter that first released the exploit, if it wasnt for them you wouldn't have had anything.

But to also note, you are all bitching about a firmware that you didnt even need to update to, nothing at the moment even requires it to run it's current games.

Props to TX if this is an original exploit, hopefully they can fix the bugs users are experiencing. I'd believe that they're working on an exploit for the ipatched units simply because supporting the more FWs and supporting more consoles are the main ways TX will make any money from SX OS considering anyone not on an ipatched unit that wants SX OS probably already has it.
