SX OS 2.6 Beta released: full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x

From Team Xecuter:

This new 2.6 BETA of SX OS adds full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x, including ALL functionality you expect when using our product. We've been pioneering our own unique and proprietary solution for defeating any future firmware protection and we're quite happy with the results so far.

This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. We are working hard to bring the SX OS experience to all of you who are stuck with an "unhackable" switch. Stay tuned for more news!

Because they were lazy rewriting sept? Don't know. They just removed the logo or turned the screen of and then made pretty much their own sept. That's definitely possible.
Or someone just leaked them the keys and they did nothing.

This release is a littered buggy mess anyway. Don't see why anybody (except for the people who updated to 7.x) should update.

yes.

Sept is not an exploit.w It's encrypted payload for tsec.
But they found an exploit which they used to get the keys.

we were told in another thread by a number of people that it was not possible for them to get the keys themselves

Congrats TX, finally u managed to remove Setp logo :P

TX could never made it alone, guess who leaked the KEY....

there been a number of people on here who said that only 2 people had the keys, so why do you think someone leaked them and TX hadn't found a way to get the keys themselves?

@Essasetic they have proper sigpatches

everything works fine
I've heard: USB HDD's failing to work, Licences not generating and cases of payloads failing to load (particularly the Atmosphere one)

It's a beta for a reason.
True. But something that has been in development for a month (longest drought of updates). Should be a bit more polished?

@Lacius were you saying? It's shocking not to see any messages from you here...

In other news, the question now is ... Either they cracked Sept or they found a way to get the keys!!! I want to see @SciresM face now.. all that time wasted in that stupid sept screen for nothing, just to make the booting process slower.

Good job TX. This will show them

Let them breathe. Maybe some leaked the keys a bit too late for them? xd

In order to crack sept, you need the keys.

You do realise this took them a month to release it. I think he did his job well. This was the longest drought of updates we've ever had (and even then what we got is a beta).

btw got Hekate to boot if chainloaded with SX OS, and Atmosphere booted correctly if booted by hekate.

They've been saying that they've been working on it for months with no actual evidence that they're working on it or hints on when it's coming out.

You can't use the 'where's the evidence' argument anymore buddy, as the exact same thing was said about 7.x support and SX, yet look what happened today.

Bottom Line: TX doesn't announce ETA's. Love it or hate it.

Yeah but 7.x has been a thing for only a month. A ipatched switch hack has been promised since June and we've got nothing but "we're working on it". So yeah I can still use that argument.
