Hi, I updated my switch by mistake for cfw 5.01 to ofw 7.01 and now my Switch won't turn on. I cant seem to be able to inject a payload either. Does anyone know a possible solution or is my Switch done for? Please help me and thanks.

Make sure you are using lastest atmosphere. I think is 0.8.5.
Then try to run again your switch

OK first connect your switch to the computer, then press the power button for like 12 - 15 seconds. After that press the power button and looks if your computer detected it.

Press and hold the power button for like 20 seconds, if you can't get it to boot into RCM before it boot into OFW then you would burn your fuse.

ok I managed to finally get it. I held the power button 20-30 secs and pressed the vol up while in TegraSmashGui. It somehow finally worked

Glad you fixed it!

Just leaving this here for reference (in case others stumble upon your thread while researching the same problem):

It often happens with autoRCM that the console isn't shut down properly ... it basically returns to RCM when you are using the Switch's Interface to shut it down. Staying on RCM will steadily drain your battery until it's completely drained. If you then try to connect a charger to recharge it the console will be recharged, however as it will be in RCM then usually charging the battery takes very long ... thus you might even think your console is dead, when it actually is fine and working as intended. So fear not if it seems like you cannot turn it on again: Usually it will work, if you are just patient enough. Good thing about RCM is also the fact that you should ALWAYS be able to boot any payload, as long as you are having one of the vulnerable models ... so just keep trying, until you succeed :)

Glad I have an internal Trinket m0 mod chip, sometime you do get stuck in RCM when you try to shut off the switch, it would bring me into Hekate where I have to shut off from there.
