Hardware SD Card wanting SDXC update?

Hello I am having another problem with my Switch (which im thinking about busting) this time it is saying I need a system upadte for sdxc but Im using the same sd card I have always used. Ive tried formatting the card to both fat32 and exfat but its the same message for both.

Im using SXOS and currently ofw 6.2 should I upgrade to 7?

If you can't use your SD without updating, I'm not sure of any other solution except for updating or formatting the system, I could be wrong though. It's safe to update but only Atmosphere CFW supports it right now, SX support probably won't come for a while.

I think I might try formatting my Switch....I keep have problem after problem lately so the Switch itself is probably screwed up.

Well formating the switch didnt help. I would update to 7 but Im not sure how to since I cant access my sd card or go online because Im banned.....any ideas?

Surely you can still access your SD on a PC, maybe the reason you're having problems is because it's corrupted. May I ask what's wrong specifically?

Ya I can still see it on pc. Dont think its corrupted because the switch shows the same message with 2 other sd cards i have. also i have reformatted it in both exfat and fat32 and it still shows the update message.

I'm assuming there's no instability then. Strange that you formatted to fat32, this is usually an exfat and pre-6.2 issue. Did you format in recovery mode? Your only solution might be to update, but you'll have to switch to atmosphere CFW. This will make things easier - https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/releases and you can probably delete everything from the cards except the ''Nintendo" and "switch" folders.
