Hi there,

although it may seem as a dupe thread I come again but now with a rather clear issue now that it doesn't seem homebrew related, more to do with my Switch's actual firmware borking.

Any time I try to do any USB activity with my Switch, it crashes. It wasn't doing that with 6.2.
I don't have to have anything like Fluffy started up to cause this problem, just connecting the Switch while some sort of USB install menu is up causes this problem

Switch is 7.0.1
Atmosphere 0.8.4
Both Fusee-primary and Hekate 4.8 bootloader cause this problem
Both Tinfoil and Gold Leaf cause this problem
Both macOS and Windows cause this problem
A fresh SD card with just an SDSetup on it causes this problem
I used Zadig to possibly reinstall libusbK in the Switch, this did not solve the problem

I am at my wit's end and no idea how to proceed. Anybody have any further ideas?

Thanx!

No particular reason I'd think it would cause your problem, but just a thing to try because it's usb-related and atmosphere-related...

In /atmosphere/system_settings.ini try changing the line:

usb30_force_enabled = u8!0x1

to

usb30_force_enabled = u8!0x0

Not working.

Downgrading to 6.2 restored the functionality. Updated back to 7.0.1 and it breaks again.
