NES ONLINE Game Injector MOD (New support)

As the Nes Online Game injector wasnt beinng updated , and lack of support for new Game Code format
I decided to take things into my hands and release Nes Online Game injector MOD

Wich give the program alot of new support changes, capability and improvment of user interface and utility control

Q&A:
Q: whats the diffrence between new and old Game Code format?
A:New format is Nes online 2.0 and above, Old format is below 2.0 like ver 1.1.0!

Version 1.3M (3.5) (The Myth)
  • Fixed Output Directory Name, Dosn't Show GameCode Anymore in Game directory Name
  • Fixed Wrong GameCode Output inside the GameDir which Caused freezes in Nes Online when Starting the game
  • Now New Format is set By Default
  • Forced the Game Dir Name to UpperCase
  • Added Screnenshot Preview
  • Added Numeric input for the Volume since I forgot about it last time
  • Minor UI Changes and Untility improvement
  • Added New Format Game Code Check, Utility won't let you to inject the Newformat if Game code isn't NxxxE
  • Added Game Code Fix Pattern to make sure the Game code is correct for new format
  • Added Player Count + Release Date and lcla6 input support. This is only for the new format US/EU as of now
  • Minor Bug fixes and skipped to Version 1.2
Version 1.1M (3.5) (The Insomnia 1.1M)
  • Changed from text input fields to numeric input for numbers
Version 1.0M (3.5) (The Insomnia)
  • Added new/old format support which can be chosen from the dropdown menu
  • Minor UI modifications
  • Auto-fill support added, some fields gets filled automatically now
  • GameTitle| Generated from the opened ROM name
  • GameCode | Generated random code using the ROM file's name characters; the other fields are already filled
  • Generate the normal game dirictory, this is the name from game's title

Are you using this with a banned switch or normal?
If it is banned is there a patch to not have the switch check if you can play start it?

All you need to play nes online is linked account and installed nsp version.
Banned switch should playit anyway if there is an accout linked to the console im preaty sure

All you need to play nes online is linked account and installed nsp version.
Banned switch should playit anyway if there is an accout linked to the console im preaty sure
I can’t play. It needs to connect official servers to run :/

To play it banned i think you need download the nsp version and install and not use the eshop one,
There are 2 playble versios we use
# 1.1.0 Old format
# 2.0+ new format

What is the difference choosing between old and new format?
Some needed fixes I found:
- The buttons for in-/decrease numbers work shifted by one press. Press up and down alternately and you see what I mean.
- Canceling after browsing without choice leads to an (ignorable) error message.
I still wish to have the last values saved (f.e. in an ini-file). Can I hope for that? ^_^

Doesn't it depend on your firmware version? I thought that if you're past 6.0 it doesn't work because of the online check, but if you're below that firmware there is no online check because the firmware doesn't support it and Nintendo didn't think of blocking the app launch in that case.

All works ... all you need is find nsp version that works

Me too, never noticed any online check. The clue are the airplane mode (that should be on anyway if using CFW) and the stealth mode.
See no reason no using the newest FW that is supported by CFW; same with NES Online updates.

You mean for generating the game code?

One more thing I noticed.
After choosing a game file with signs like ( or [ etc. the folder generation gives an error due to invalid characters.
So you should send the game name through a sort out filter first ;)

Ill look into adding extra check removing any special characters

Do i need cfw for this? A youtube videos don't say anything about cfw
You need cfw for this yes.
The paths being executed by the LayerdFS to inject them in the app

I'm on 5.0.2 and couldn't play. Guess I had the wrong NES Online version.
1st of all you need Linked account to your Switch as was already said 2nd you need instllble NSP version 1.0 for old game code format and 2.0+ for new game code format

How can I link an account if I have the console offline or banned? I don't think it can be done.
I guess Retroarch has to make do.

well you can use linked account on a banned switch if you had one before the ban, if not you out of luck until the app get patched against the account,

you still kinda have an option but it involves flashing etc, wich isnt worth risking abrick cause of filesystem manipulations,
but anyway the method involves taking adumped account from aswitch that got a linked one and after injecting it into your dump of the switch flash it back ... i wouldnt sugest doing so . there have been reports of 50/50 chance of brick
so reaaly in your case RetroArch it is!
