It’s way overpriced. Why would you not want CFW when not only is it cheaper, but has more features?

i have cfw, i'm talking about people who don't want it, or cannot do it themselves, or get it done for them. I understand it is way overpriced, but for these people to use 3ds roms it is fine.
 
Only DS-mode emulators, which are kind of crappy. Emulators in CFW work much better.
That's mostly not true. It does not support DLDI patches as far as I know* and has no auto patching.

* I have found DLDI patches which allow the card to read from the SD but writing seems to be broken.

I wasn't aware of that. Regardless, DS-mode emulators are best avoided. There's also a scaling problem due to the DS being only 256x192, which is doubly bad on a 2DS/3DS where the games are scaled down by the emulator and then back up by the console.
