Gaming Issue with latest dead cells update

Base game works fine

Delete game, delete update

Try again

Same issue

I think the new updates require 7.0 now
people have reported these new updates working with tinfoil with the ignore firmware selected

You need to install the update using the "ignore firmware version" option of Tinfoil or whichever NSP-installer you use. Doing so should allow the update to work with 5.0.0 and higher, since those are the keys it uses.

I'm assuming you'd install Goldleaf which should have tinfoil included and that there'd be an nsp installation option with the "ignore firmware version" checkbox.....am I close?

Copy this to the Switch folder on the root of your memory card.

Launch Goldleaf

Locate & select v7.0 updates/DLCs for installation, ensuring that you choose to ignore firmware requirements, it will ask you.!

I just tried this. I installed Dead Cells with Gold Leaf, no crash. Tried to install 1.0.1 or some other update - crash with error message twice and it just froze once so I installed that with SXOS. Switched over to Tinfoil (never tried installing with the ignore firmware version before) and that just worked.
