Hello.
Might be tiny problem while could be worse.

I have this switch :
Version : Last I guess I update some days ago
Game launched : None
SX OS not loaded since some days / weeks (to confirm issue)
Ambient temperature is normal I think, we barely use any heater and run at +18c in average. (I mean room temperature)
Wifi on with dns

my issue :
When my switch is in sleep mode for some hours it start to show a white bar when I ''wake it up''
It is not much at the moment but I am kinda scared it could be a permanent issue.

At first I thought it would be due to SX OS to be outdated, so I did both system update and SX OS update.
The problem still appeared, so I did removed auto RCM and SX OS for some days to try with 'as less as I can mods' on it.
and it still have this error.

Oh forgot to mention, when my switch is in sleep mode it is in it's dock and without games running (dock is not modded beside soft cloth where the screen is in contact to prevent scratch.)
And this issue also appear in sleep mod without being in it's dock and having or not usb connected does not change it.
This white bar is not a full solid colour it is more like a gradient from left (full white) to right (colour blend with background)
Also, this bar vanish over time I leave the switch on without sleep.
My switch is a day one switch and I really take care of it not a single time it fell or have any issue I also clean it gently, never opened it.

So my question, is this something know?
if yes any way to ''avoid'' it ?
I will try to shutdown the device and not sleep mode when not using to see if that issue appear.

Not specific to switch but I have seen some old LCD panels have similar issue and may need to "warm up" or run for a few min to resolve itself. In the end only fix may be to reseat/replace LCD and hope it's not an onboard issue.

I have similar issue today!

Did you resolve the issue ?
Mine switch was bought new 2years ago, so it was one of the first model.
Could it be using bad LCD panels that are coming out after 2years of usage ?

There is no any correction to this, it seem to appear quite randomly.
Sometime I have sometime not :x

i suspect its a loose cable. Probably can be fixed by unplugging and plugging the cable again.
