I've tried joycons and pro controller, restarted switch, and installed latest retroarch nothing works. I've recently made some fowarders for roms and installed themes could that be the cause , any fixes?

is it a nro or nsp?

I've made a bunch of forwarders and haven't had any problem, I don't see how that could be the cause but I really don't know for sure.

If it's nsp delete the nsp and reinstall retroarch nsp.

Sounds to me like u changed a crucial input setting by accident.
Try deleting your configs
