the op has two switches, he doesnt really need emunand, plus if atmos implements it they would do it a lot better than tx
If you have 2 Switches there's no reason to not have one fully legit and one for CFW, EMUNAND or not.

thats what i meant
I know, I just don't get why people are even bringing up EMUNAND in this case. Really the best case for OP is to do the official console to console transfer, that's what I did when I got my second Switch. A Jig is never going anywhere near my legit Switch, ever.

Meh, I mentioned it because you can save yourself the cost of a second tablet and still enjoy all the features. $30 compared to $150+. Just trying to help people out here.

But yeah the topic title stated he had two switches already so my post was kind of useless. Maybe somewhere down the line people in the market for a switch come across these posts, and they dont end up wasting a good sum of money for nothing.
I digress though, cause by the time said people read this Atmosphere will probably have all of the features that SXOS does.

don't need to spend money on a product thats lesser quality
also don't need emunand if you are not an idiot, just back up your nand, i did it yesterday and it only took an hour just restore the nand if it is ever bricked

SXOS vs another Nintendo Switch is what i meant.

Yeah suppose you dont need emunand. If you're content with doing 1-hr long nand restores + checkpoint backups any time you want to use OFW.

you can save a lot more money too by just using atmos, its also a lot safer
we are coming real close to coldboot
and if you are impatient you could always get a dongle (which is still cheaper than sx os)
you also dont need a jig if you have autorcm

Yeah I agree completely. Cause sooner or later Atmosphere is going to drop emunand, which is like the only reason imo to even use SXOS. Until that happens though...

Hopefully a coldboot exploit comes out soon, doubt ill be able to use it though im already on 6.2 lol. Fuses burnt :(

rip but autorcm can bypass that
i like how you didn't fight like some other people i tell that atmos is better
they get mad lol

No problem haha, lots of hostility around here on this subject. To be honest if I had the choice I would use atmosphere. When they drop their version of it im making the switch over.

Thank you. Got the new Switch. Am I able to do a console to console transfer from v2.3.0 to whatever the new console version is? I’m still in the initial setup screen on the new Switch so unsure what version it is.

I haven’t put the v2.3.0 Switch on WiFi in forever. Assuming I need to put it online? Any risk to doing so?

Only problem now if you will have to wait for SX OS to support 7.0.0 as the official console to console transfer requires you to go online to do it. I mean you can do it, but you'll have to wait to use a CFW for a while.

It's not exactly clear what OP wants, but from what I understand, he wants to transfer saves so when he decides to play online, he can use the save from the old one.

The thing is, the new switch can only play original games and is the only one that can go online, so why not play those games only on the new one? The old one can still play local wireless or lan, in case you go to your friends house or something, he will not get banned.

Most likely would be case in if the Switch with all your saves on it is an older one that can use RCM, and the new one is an ipatched unit. This was the case for me, so all online and legit games would be played on the new ipatched one, and then use the old one for CFW.

Yeah I wanted to move my Zelda save to the new console. Sounds like it’s not possible without updating the old one from 2.3.0 and burning fuses.

So updating without burning fuses is pointless, they will get burned when you boot into OFW to do the transfer, unless you think going online to do the transfer is a good idea.
If they haven’t done anything suspicious yet and use atmosphere while doing the transfer they’ll probably be fine
