Hacking Requesting help with decryption without a PSVita and zRIF

As the title says, the game in topic is Fate/Extella Link. I only wish to extract the assets from the game.

Is it possible to decrypt it with psvpfstools without a zrif?
If not, may someone provide the key file of the game for me?

There are no .pkg from the game .zip I downloaded, just a folder with eboots and encrypted assets.

Fate/EXTELLA and Link has encrypted files besides the mandatory Sony/Vita encryption, so you would need to make a custom tool to decrypt them. So, yes, it's possible.

The psvpfstools only help you with the Sony/Vita portion of the process, but it can't decrypt the files you get from that.

Well, yes. You said that the only things you have are encrypted assets (some folders I assume) and eboots (one for each game), which is what the .PKG contains once you have it installed on your Vita or once you have it decrypted with the other tools.

For both EXTELLA and LINK, the archive.pk file is the one that contains the actual assets from the game, and I guess you would also need the archive.pfs as those are the system files for the .pk one (though probably you won't need the .pfs file if you are using the tools for the PC version of EXTELLA, which may or may not work for LINK as the headers for the archive.pk are obviously different).

Have you tried to simply extract the archive.pk files directly with the EXTELLA PC tool? TBH, I haven't tested it, but you have nothing to lose if you try.

Well, as the thread says, the tool for extraction apparently works, you only need the zRIF as for whatever reason your files aren't decrypted (I'd recommend downloading .PKG from NPS Browser as it does everything for you; then you can use the pfstools on that).

Thanks for these but how do I use zrifs? Do I make a txt file or something and rename it to *.zrif?

So, it worked? Glad to hear it. I wasn't really sure it would work but at least you can confirm indeed it does.

IIRC, the models can be viewed with Noesis, while the scripts may require decryption so you can view/edit them (encryption may be another thing though...).
