I heard on youtube that one needs to disable autorcm before creating nand backup because autorcm writes something to nand for it to work.
If one backs up nand without disabling autorcm, it will also backup that part of nand that autorcm writes to.
Is it true?
I didn't disable autorcm before creating my nand backup.
If the theory is true then I have to recreate a nand backup.
Thanks.

Yes but its not that big of a deal if you backup the NAND after enabling AutoRCM. The partition it writes to is boot0 and dumping it after enabling AutoRCM just means you will have a NAND backup that has AutoRCM enabled. The reason why I think they recommend not to do this is that you may forget your NAND backup has AutoRCM pre-enabled meaning if you restore your NAND, you may think your console is bricked but in reality, it just has AutoRCM enabled.

This is why I don't like YouTube. They don't explain anything and only give half of what you need to know.

What would happen with auto RCM enabled on Emunand and disabled on sysnand?

EmuNAND and SysNAND share the same boot0/boot1 hence why people say its not the perfect EmuNAND solution. Because a real EmuNAND solution wouldn't require modifying the system to boot into it. So if AutoRCM is enabled on SysNAND, its technically enabled on EmuNAND as well at least with SX OS' implementation. The only part that lives on the SD card is the eMMC raw GPP.
