I was wanting to buy a switch this Christmas and the big issue for me has been that I can't watch things like YouTube and browse the web and the fact Nintendo didn't follow usb c protocol and that means I can't buy a third party dock

Anyways is there a Homebrew app to use a web browser for the switch and can this get me banned?

Oh and I know switches past June aren't moddable does anyone have a serial number chart I can use when buying a switch to know if it's moddable?

you could use a network sign in page as a browser there is alot of videos on this but im not sure if it will play videos and you can watch youtube on a banned switch since there is a patch that lets u watch it without nintendo servers

There is a patched Youtube .NSP that skips the Nintendo Online validation.
Sorry I must have explained this poorly I was asking if it would get me banned like what might and might not
