Hacking Why TX hasn't released a new SX OS yet.

Why is everyone so impatient. Everything works fine on 6.1.0. I don't see any rush to update.

Because everyone want to use the eshop in OFW and buy/download new games? Just one possible reason.

It makes sense though the teams stated that other than the booting stuff cfw didn't change that much. Considering their complicated drm stuff happens at booting must mean they had to re do it

No ETA yet..

Finally of course people are going to bug me on ETA for next release of SX OS, but its not something that can be rushed, it has to be fully tested on various different switches, and to make sure all of our special features work like emunand, cheat codes, etc. -- Its not as simple as other custom firmwares which don't offer any of those features intergrated into their os, and not to mention our proven feature over the last few months, direct xci loading with full emulation of cartridges.

i just switched from sxos to atmosphere 2 nights ago and i wont be going back to sxos.

if there delay excuse is there working on a forum when important updates are needed then that tells you the type of people your dealing with....
people didnt buy there product for forums, so using the forums as an excuses is pretty sad.

oh they have cracked it, but they need to test it on different switches, again BS.

now resolving there own personal DRM issues, that sounds a lot more legit to me.
but can i recommend sxos over free cfw when there is this long of a delay between patches? not at all. not when you see the likes of atmosphere devs smash it out the park everytime.

Looks like another sx is trash thread.

The thing that I've noticed is that people who bought sx os for the most part don't mind waiting,because the features that do work seem to be missing from atmosphere. Those that do mind waiting have "jumped ship" and are very open to trying something else in the mean time,which is perfectly fine as well.If SX doesn't provide what thry need,there's a completely free alternative they can use

What is really irritating is that you get people going out of their way to highlight every little thing about sx being evil/corrupt or otherwise the source of all evil at every chance they get because their personal bias and moral code tells them to.

Seriously,we get it.You hate tx(not directed at OP,just in general) but is it worth the unnecessary stress in your lives?

TL;DR - more complaining from people that don't own SX OS licences to people that own them because they have nothing better to do with their time.

I only updated to 6.2.0 to install the Smash Ultimate update.

lol there are patched versions, where you can use the update even on 5.1.0

I do it all the time with a formatted NAND and my emuNAND with all my piracy stuff. Haven't gotten banned and have been using the emuNAND feature like that for a while.
