I think the unknown errors are dangerous, right?

Holy shit, with those error code, it is dangerous to go online. When it is your last time to connect online with error code? If there were no error code when you go online so you could try to add clear the logs.

If error code presents when you go online before so restore the clean NAND is your only option.

Question, why doesn't the files just include the 6.2 cfw files since it works on older cfw too. All you need is the atmosphere folder with the sigpatches included, then just send primary.bin. What would then be the point of the modules folder with sm.kip, etc?
Also you can add kips to atmosphere folder like atmosphere/kips/ without having to add anything to the hekate ipl.

Because the purpose of those kips are for loading CFW on firmwares that aren't 6.2. Remove those and you're basically left with Atmosphere and some sig patches when KosMos is meant to be much more than just a compilation of Atmosphere.

What exactly are those other kip files (PM, SM, etc) and what do they do that's different from what the basic atmosphere files already offer? Does atmosphere 0.8.1 not work on lower firmware?

Those kip files aka sysmodules are already baked into Atmosphere, more specifically into fusee-secondary. And because of that you can't toggle them on or off (although not much reason to turn them off nowadays). And its not that Atmosphere doesn't work on lower firmwares but not everyone is on the same firmware but they all may use the same package like this one. Its not right to remove something that doesn't work on one firmware when everyone else may be using on all of the other firmwares.

Show me your folder structure.
In fact it has to go into sd:\atmosphere\titles\[here]
Then be sure to launch atmo with LayeredFS but I guess that's the default.

Thanks for replying I was just about to ask again this second.

I have it in atmosphere/titles/0100000000001000/romfs/lyt/...
I just transferred titles from sxos over to the atmosphere folder but none of my themes show up?

How do I launch atmosphere with layeredfs?

Hold VOL- while booting hekate and check the launch options. Although I'm still pretty sure it already uses LFS by default.
That theme is working fine in SX OS? And you were using it on the same FW there as you do in atmo now? Not an emunand on another FW or something like that?

I dunno what else would cause your issue. Been transfering multiple themes in the past between the SX OS and atmo folder and it always worked.
To be absolutely sure you might wanna delete your complete atmosphere folder, copy it from newest Kosmos.zip and then copy over your theme title folder again (in that order).

Edit: Be sure to use hekate, not fusee.bin as I'm not sure whether that one has LFS too (I think so though).

No I've tried reinstalling all the zip file again still wont show my themes. When I go into launch how do I know layeredfs is on? I cannot see anything mentioning layeredfs in the launch settings? do I need a special ini file or something I think I am missing something it doesn't mention anything about layeredfs in the launch settings as far as I know.

Edit sorry: Yes same firmware 6.1.0 no difference works under sxos but for some reason not under atmosphere.

@lordelan I got my themes working. I forgot to put the fsmitm.flag files back into my themes, you see with sxos themes you don't need these files alongside but with other cfw's you do, never mind sorted in the end. Thanks for your help :) back up again too firmware 6.2.0 for the wait of Super Smash coming such inconvenience lol

@tomGER since I don't see it mentioned in the release notes I have to ask. Does kosmos use that part of atmosphere that detects and auto sets nogc?

If so, is it not important enough to get a mention?

Thanks!
