This has been one of their longest gaps in between updates. But I think it mostly boils down to that they can't get 6.2.0 support to work properly. Either that or they're cooking something new.

I think they are cooking up with something NEW !!

There's absolutely no way that the delay is because "they're cooking something new". They probably absolutely hate the fact that you can use Atmosphere right now but not their own product. 6.2.0 would have to be their top priority if they want to sell their products.

nintendo have not killed it off, and yes they have released news, your just inpatient and also one of the endless n00bs that fail to understand the purpose of firmware updates and blindly updated for no reason at all, and now want to sit claiming theyre dead.

sx have already told its users that they have an update coming soon.

i know its taking longer than atmos but sx is a completely different environment and offers features atmos doesnt.

so would you like them to rush it and risk causing damage to consoles just to please you because you updated for no reason at all, i know if they did you would again be seen bitching about it.

simply wait for the update and shut up bitching.

learn a lesson from this, ALL CONSOLES THAT HAVE FIRMWARE UPDATES SERVE ONE PURPOSE, TO BLOCK EXPLOITS.

when people start to understand this then we will see less people bitching and constantly harrasing for updates when youve been told its coming soon.

I am pretty sure he hid the code as to try and prevent Ninty from patching it for as long as possible. Could have sworn i read this somewhere.

apart from theres never been proof that tx have stole anything.

this is why hackers half the time dont bother releasing their work because people are ungreatful.

you do know the team behind sx are those that brought you everything on the 360.

as soon as a free option comes out people show no respect.

i do agree tho they need to be faster when it comes to updates, its not good for sales if a free cfw can get support out faster than a product you have to pay for.

i also said from day one they should never have advertised as works on all consoles and future proof, there is no such thing as future proof.

i would love to see proof of your claim.

i have direct contact with xecuter and not only have the got a solution to 6.2 and are testing to ensure its 100% safe to release, they also have a solution for the revised models and are aiming to have a new product released early 2019.

I'm in no rush. As has been stated 100 times. no reason to be on 6.2 if you're using cfw. Everything works on 6.1 including smash for those who care about that game. I'm just hoping next update is not just 6.2 compatibility. I'd like to see some new things like a gui change for game browsing and maybe power management for HDDs. Either way it will be worth the wait. Haterz gonna hate now and after the update anyway.
