you also need to make sure the system is fully powered down before going in to rcm mode and injecting if you use auto rcm just hold the power button for 12 seconds press again then insert usb and inject payload (fusee primary)
That's what I've been doing, and autorcm gets overwritten after updating officially anyways which means I don't have it installed.

This is a hardware problem, its not being fixed in these and there's not going to be many workarounds if any without inviting other problems. But its still a lost exploit that ReSwitched and all of those involved with this decided to burn, for which I am sure they have their reasons. If N has time, they'll not have it in the next hardware.

So its a long term thing. Might impact the mariko chips or it might not.
Did you not read @_Bison_ ’s posts describing the hack? TSEC has not been owned and Nintendo can conceivably make it much more difficult / impossible to run this sort of hack.

why are you spreading fake rumors. Nobody said "impossible" to hack. Guy said "make it harder" but that's just his opinion. Harder could be instead of cracking it in a week it takes a week and a half. lol

Same here had SX OS since its launch, but Atmosphere definitely won the 6.2 race
your comment is absurd. SX-OS is atmosphere with a skin on it and extra features like xci loading and hdd support. saying atmosphere won vs sx-os is like saying the cheese won over the pizza.

First of all I said much more difficult *OR* impossible. Not ruling out the possibility of a hack, but it’s naive to a assume it will always just take a week or two.

Second, see see below. Emphasis added.

Yes they can. Mimicing MMIO with exactly the same behavior from a CPU is not trivial. What the TSEC now checks is mostly static data. If they change the TSEC to start to check for dynamic behavior of MMIO memory, well let's say it may not be possible to bypass it. There are also probably more than just one way to detect this hack.

saying "imposibble" and "not ruling out the posibility" is a contradiction.

Do you know English? Look up the definition of “or”.

Not ruling out the possibility of a hack. Just ruling in the possibility that in the future a hack may not be feasible. In other words, there are no guarantees. Besides, a guy much more familiar with the hack than you or I also concludes it may become impossible to fool the tsec in the future.

Stop using Hekate. Use the Payload from the Atmo github.
Ok, so these patches that were in the latest SDFiles that specifically go in the atmosphere folder did the trick for me somehow.
download this https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/releases KosmosV1101.zip in the atmosphere directory copy exefs_patches , kip_patches folders to your SD/atmosphere/ thats it it should work now try it
nevertheless, thank you for helping me anyways!

it's "yes or no" not "yes and no" I don't need a dictionary to understand that but apparently you do. lol I could care less to argue with you so here it goes. Yes it's going to be impossible to hack. Nintendo wins. GG

The homebrew menu doesn't seem to be launching out of Album when I select it from the Home screen. Does anyone know what's up?

Have you never heard the phrase “difficult if not impossible”? Same idea.

Not saying it’s going to absolutely be impossible to hack. Only that it might become impossible. What is clear is that the vulnerability being used is not something that’s unfixable, and that it’ll likely become a cat/mouse game from here.

Man, those security features make it hard to remain on alternate cfw...

so what happens when something tries to go against these features? like, what happens when you install and run pikabricker? does it just not do anything, is there warnings, will it just not install at all?

I'm afraid I would say, do a full backup and try. Because I'm curious as well.

I'm a little confused that EmuNAND is not part of .8--wasn't that supposed to be the key feature of this release?

Looking at the github, it seems like this feature isn't a priority right now. I wonder if the Atmosphere team has another solution to preventing online bans.
