You hit the nail on the head.So if im reading this correctly, if the serial is one of the green ones, it can be hacked with a jig, if its one of the yellow ones, I MIGHT be able to hack it with a jig, and if its red, I CAN NOT hack it with a jig?
Red border are estimates. We don’t know exactly where all Switchs are patched. They are intentionally low, since a lower firmware means better odds.I dont know if I am the only one to report this but I bought a pokemon lets go pikachu bundle with the serial xaw1010889XXXX and it is not patched. I do not remember what fw it shipped with bute fusee runs on it.
My friend just got a XAW40011 console on Black Friday from Newegg that is vulnerable to Fusée Gelée. I’m unsure of the original firmware because he updated it.
I posted it to let people know that Newegg has exploitable units, not that I was surprised that it was vulnerableThats listed as safe, so not a surprising result. Probably an old unit.
Sorry guys, I’m literally new at this.
I literally just bought this off of someone and didn’t realize that serial #’s mattered until after I got it.
Serial:XAW700021XXXXX
Firmware: 3.0.1
Region: US?
Colour: Gray
Apparently purchased around 2017
Would you recommend I return/sell it?
Yes, but it.I bought an XAW10089 (bought not knowing about this) and obously was patched. Now Im at the store and want to return it. I found one with XAW70011, so i think is compatible? Any suggestion will be apreciated
