I brought my Switch with Smash C2C2 to a small Smash group at my uni today. They played for 8 hours STRAIGHT and didn't get a single crash. And note that my microSD card is exFAT.

That really has nothing to do with this thread. Nobody was questioning if C2C crashed.

Been playing for many hours on exFat, sysnand, docked and had one crash. Although it didn't actually close the game so there was no data loss or anything. Pretty much the game locked up, and I could go to the home menu but the home menu locked up as well. The audio also kept making a really loud sound that wouldn't stop. The fix was undocking the switch, sleepmoding it and then after unlocking it everything went back to normal.

I went ahead and rebuilt my emunand and it doesn't seem to be crashing any more. Likely was an emunand issue, not a fat32 issue.

In another thread I kept being told that file system type exFat or FAT32 does not effect corruption. I think this thread pretty much disproves that.

I installed the NSP by copying onto my exFAT SD card. The game consistently crashes during the opening cinematic, but I haven't been able to get it to crash anywhere else.

As an experiment, I switched to a FAT SD card that also has CFW, and I still consistently crash. So if there's an exFAT bug, it's causing the corruption during the installation of the game, not during normal play.

I installed it over USB to NAND. SD is fat32 but I doubt that matters since the game isn't on it. It hard froze once (home menu worked, but got stuck on closing software, had to reboot) and crashed once when trying to switch to a different user profile for smash (crashed the entire console on trying to launch a second time, worked fine after reboot). No save issues though.

That's interesting so even if someone installs to nand but had it on a exfat sd card it could still crash.

Crushed once just after first load, before opening movie. Was okay second time around and so on. sx, exfat.

Stuck on black screen once in 8 hours play in adventure mode, had to go to home menu and close software. FAT32 SD card and the save game was fine when I reloaded.

Comentario salvaje en español aparece... Me se me crasheo una vez que modifiqué las reglas de un torneo, tuve que poner CFW de nuevo.

Wild spanish coment wants to fight!....
It crashed one time where i was putting the settings in the tournament offline mode, i had to hard reset... ExFat

Hasn’t crashed on me yet. 6.1 running atmosphere, using a 256gb microsd formatted to fat32. Played with my family for several hours Saturday and Sunday with no crashes. Only issue I had was one port on one GameCube adapter was acting up and that worked fine after relaunching the game
