everyone press f for the soul at nintendo who spent like 2 weeks or something on the new security measure to have it cracked in 4 days
From what I understood someone said that actually could be months of their work and since it's engaging co-processor they could even pay NVIDIA for that. No comment...Sx os should be updated by tomorrow
Are you a Team Xecuter developer? lolSx os should be updated by tomorrow
The thing is, developer accounts are free right now (even if they stopped being free, they'd be $20), and dev mode has been opened up to allow more ram and I believe more CPU cycles. Dev mode allows the user to sideload emulators and other apps from any Windows (10?) PC. The only reason to hack it further is for retail cheats and piracy, and no one is interested in doing that. Genius on Microsoft's part honestly. It would be cool if Nintendo and Sony would do the same some day.wow.......the "hacking & homebrew" section for the xbox one has 8 pages....compared to the ps4's 50, which itself isn't nearly as cracked open as the switch.....damn.
And 90% of the Games are also now available on the PC. So the motivation for pirates is also gone. The thing is, developer accounts are free right now (even if they stopped being free, they'd be $20), and dev mode has been opened up to allow more ram and I believe more CPU cycles. Tx probably didnt even develop their xci loader, some random person probably made it and tx paid them.
This x100. No one gives a shit how it is done, as long as it is.You are assuming things now. Who cares who steals stolen codes? Everything about the scene is wrong and you guys try to make it look like one is right over another. I personally do not care who steals what. I do not care who cracked what first, or who figured out what first. All I care about is how does any of it benefit me.
probably because no one cares to hack xbox games since you can download most of them for the pc already.Very true...
The irony...
Windows NT (all of them) have been hacked and attacked for years and years... Viruses, exploits and so-on.
Xbox One, which runs on, yep you guessed it... A Windows NT kernel... remains intact and unhacked.
Irony indeed...
I wouldn't say Sony gave up on PS3, there was an update like a month ago
and it took years to crack anything beyond 3.55 OFW.

Nintendo doesn't care about Wii and Wii U, so you can go online without banned.
Sony still ban you if you go online with CFW, even this year and if PS3 was 12 years old now. Of course, hackers were surprised by Sony's action.
How long until we see a new sx os update with the crack included? Do we usually see them in days after a firmware have been cracked or weeks?
Why would anyone be surprised? The software they wrote to detect CFW will still work today as well as it did when they wrote it. Lots of people go online with CFW and don't get banned, you just have to make sure they can't detect you. They haven't put any effort into improving their detection methods.
They thought Sony abandoned PS3 entirely and not care about hacking anymore like Sony did to PS Vita, but not true as they continue to ban anyone for running the CFW.
