I recommend 256GB. Basically the sweet spot of memory cards right now for the price. If you wanna make sure you have a ton of space, get a 400GB sandisk micro sd (amazon choice), they’re on sale on amazon all the time if you have prime. Or get a 512GB on Newegg today for $150 while they’re on sale for Black Friday.
Depends. With SX+XCIs it's not much problem to swap them on/off the card so 32GB would be fine.
For installing NSPs though the bigger the better.
I'd recommend two, a fast 32gb card for XCIs (which need the speed since since there's overhead with them), and a cheap slow big card for NSPs.
I use 256GB Samsung U3 card, it is really fast.
Are you going to pirate?
Then 400gb SanDisk. They're under 100 bucks currently. U1 or U3 really barely makes a difference.
If not, you'll be fine with 128 for a long time
ok, you're right, for xci, the difference is obvious. but even they can just install games which is generally much faster either way.https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....ch_speed_tests_u1_vs_u3_microsd_cards_xci_vs/
There a sppe
Yes there speed test above seems to really make a difference depending on game format.

and there, two seconds on one of the longest load times out there really isn't worth paying like 3 times as much for the same space.
if there's really a game with such obnoxious or frequent load times, like fighterz or BotW, they fit on the internal nand which is even faster.
My suggestion would be to check the prices for 128/256gb cards, i got a 256gb inside my switch and with about 30(ish) games its cramped but i have plenty of games to switch arround (no pun intended). Just make sure u get a class 10, since those are the fastest (own asumption tough). Scandisk might be your best bet
